There are times we need to be realistic with ourselves. Those who are forming coalition, I am yet to see how they can remove/defeat president Tinubu in 2027 Is it by popularity? Even before president Tinubu won in 2023, he was more popular politically than the other candidates not to talk of now that he's the president Leadership quality: Abeg which of the people in the coalition have the leadership quality like president Tinubu, hahaha, the same people who deserted their previous political party as they lack leadership skills. Strategy - Why are the opposition unable to pull subsidy protest like during GEJ'S time even for the fact that former president Buhari paid the same fuel subsidy they campaigned against before winning in 2015? Politics with consultant - President Tinubu might be grounded politically but most of his though decisions are mostly recommended by his consultant group which always cross check every moves, every plans. The so called people in the opposition are lonely politically not to talk of making use of consultant in guiding their political journey. Those who have been reckless with their talk already indicated that they have back up advisers. Money and resources: To win a presidential election in Nigeria even with your popularity, you will still need nothing less than N50bn. There is yet to be any state governor defecting to the coalition party ADC, who will fund the party? In president Tinubu's case, the foreigners who are interested in investing in Nigeria but yet to get there way would be the one to fund president Tinubu campaign indirectly. Support base/ political structure - ADC only have 2 house of reps members who are from Bauchi state, no governor, no senator. Where would the coalition start from in building bases, political structure? It would have been easy for them to collapse their former party structure to the coalition but they have never be in charge of that. Be it Atiku/Peter Obi, Atiku/Amaechi, Obi/Elrufai or which ever combination, they can never defeat president Tinubu. You can take that to the bank for cash out. As usual, this thread is for future reference |

igboarenice:Bro you see, we have to be realistic with some certain things. Like who in the coalition can defeat president Tinubu? How is it going to do it without having the listed advantages above? |

helinues:Aregbesola is the interim Secretary of the coalition One call from President Tinubu and he will sabotage the coalition Besides the coalition has no momentum at all |

igboarenice:LP and Pdp might collapse their party structure for Apc as those who left the party didn't leave with good faith. Both parties have nothing to loose in doing that |

Coalition is just another El-rufai 's northern Fulani agenda to deny the South second term. He only supported Tinibu in 2023 because of Muslim -muslim ticket. And he will never support Obi with ADC to be president. |

9jii:My only curiosity is, should Peter Obi be denied the presidential/VP ticket of the coalition, what would be the next step for him to take? Remain in the coalition or find another political party like LP to get their presidential ticket? |

helinues:That ll be the end of his political career and El-rufai will forever mock his supporters when they finally find out how gullible they are. |

When you have too many ambitious people in a group, decisions making would be contradictory. Politically and religiously, majority of the leader of the coalition don't share same ideology Atiku/Elrufai don't share same political and religious Ideology Obi/El Rufai don't share same political and religious Ideology Atiku/Amaechi is also the same. When you match the leaders of the coalition together, their ideology basis are different |

9jii:I have advised Peter Obi to join Apc, not for votes but not just to make more jokes of himself. The coalition would hardly give him either their presidential ticket or VP position while he can't win the presidency on its own. Peter Obi has nothing to loose in joining Apc, his supporters can go and support other candidates as they are not needed, their principal joining is not for votes |

I honestly think they are working towards the election after Tinubu's second term, all this talk about one term President they are all throwing about is childish manipulation. Is it North East and South East that have not test the Presidency that would be asking for one term. They should just calm down and await their turn . |

The presidential candidate of the coalition is settled. The primaries would be to fulfil all righteousness. There is a reason Datti is not happy because El Rufai will be Obi's vp. Obi tried to negotiate for Datti to be his running mate while promising one-term but they won't accept he takes the presidential ticket and vp. You think El Rufai son tweeting is out of ignorance? To look but not to see! helinues:
