Bashir El-Rufai who is one of the sons of former Kaduna state governor, Bashir El-Rufai, caused a stir online yesterday when he publicly expressed his love for Peter Obi.

Bashir who has hitherto been very critical of Obi, shared a photo of Obi and his father at the Coalition meeting that held on Wednesday, July 2.

An X user who has been monitoring his page and the comments he has been making, went on to ask if he will no longer speak ill of Peter Obi.

Responding, Bashir stated that that he now loves Peter Obi and went on to chant the Northern political slogan with Obi’s name. ‘’Sai Peter Obi''. he wrote

According to him, other political influencers have been afforded the opportunity to change their positions d so he has the right to change his political views as well.
