A former Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung, has said President Bola Tinubu will not be re-elected during the 2027 general elections, even he appoints his son Seyi as the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

Dalung stated this while speaking on News Central on Friday night.

According to him, the next elections will be a battle between Nigerians and Tinubu’s government.

Dalung said: “Like I promised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, even if the 36 state governors of Nigeria defect to the APC and he appoints Seyi Tinubu as the chairman of INEC and maybe appoints his wife as the Chief Justice of Nigeria, they will be defeated in 2027.

“Because it is we against them. Nigerians should buckle for 2027, because the battle line has been drawn by the government of President Tinubu, which has declared war against the Nigerian people.

“The government has weaponized poverty, hunger and hardship.

“The only option we have now is to align with the coalition movement to reposition ourselves and confront the government in 2027.”

Another one who didn't have an opportunity to cash out by stealing from the government and is always pained.

Let me also state this here. As it stands, the ADC will end up campaigning for APC. By the time full campaign starts and they shout A-D-C, people will mistakenly take it to be the great party APC. The only two party known down to grassroots is APC and PDP. So ADC will end up campaigning for APC.

Well, that is if confusion and restraining orders allow them to reach that point.

Not as easy as that. The choice of ADC presidential candidate and governorship candidates will go a long way in determining who wins . If adc picks the wrong candidate,they will lose woefully everywhere will shake but if they pick the right candidate,then they will beat Tinubu convincingly,.one advantage they have now is that Tinubu has messed up and many people are against him but that doesn't mean they will follow any candidate blindly

Tinubu has actually taken free and fraudulent money out of the mouths of these people, particularly those that feed on the subsidy payment fraud and forex blackmarket fraud.

All Tinubu needs to do is to go to the drawing board, bring on deliberate policies and actions that will bring down prices of goods and services.

Those clamouring to take over from Tinubu wants to take Nigeria back to the Buhari Era where they where printing and sharing the Naira?

Just in FCT here, a minister was in office for straight 8 good years, all we could point to are abandoned projects and commissioning of 3 major roads that were rehabilitated.

Same FCT that a minister is commissioning several projects after just 2 years!

People like this dey make us wan support Tinubu to continue. These are the kind of people wike was referring to. Dalung was a minister under Buhari. I don't think anyone remembers any legacy of him in the ministry of sports.

Just like Mr Rauf Aregbesola, he was a minister under Buhari. I don't think anyone remembers any legacy he left behind in the ministry of interior. Just see what the young man Tunji Ojo is currently doing there in Just 2yrs. Many of us are interested in the coalition b'cos of Peter Obi. Otherwise they're just as bad as Tinubu or even worse.
