The one man that I can accept Obi replacing Datti with. Sule Lamido is a performer with no history of religious fundamentalism or bigotry. Former Jigawa State Governor and Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has expressed willingness to support Mr. Peter Obi in the 2027 Presidential election should he emerge as the standard bearer of the coalition.https://x.com/vanguardngrnews/status/1941365779347407035?s=46&t=2AB_wrBea-oBYJf5ZCFV-A

The presidency should remain in the South for another 4 years, so supporting whoever emerges is the wise thing to do |

They are telling him this to lure him into the coalition and deceive him to participate in the primary. They all know Atiku will win the primary without stress. The strategy is to keep him in the party till it’s too late to move to another party so that he either accept the VP role or he’s unable to contest and divide Atiku’s vote. ADC is Atiku and North’s SPV for power grab from the south. Kachikwu already revealed what they told him. Good enough, we now know that Peter Obi is secretly trying to register his own party through Aisha Yesufu. Everyone in the Atiku Demonic Coalition already have a backup plan for the inevitable implosion of the party ![]() |

This is the driving point. The political barometer of this nation showed an abysmal state of things that Nigeria needs urgent intervention to reverse the negativity the APC has inflicted. |

The People's President is here to right all the wrongs of Tinubu and his APC... A New Nigeria 🇳🇬 is indeed POssible! |

seunmsg:First of all, it was Tinubu is invincible and not one can challenge his ill governance. Then comes the Peter Obi can never be president rhetorics. Now, why the obsession with the political permutations of his fate under the coliation? |

Racoon:This is Nairaland and every member is free to contribute to any forum discussion. You’ve been on several Tinubu thread without anybody asking you what’s your obsession with Tinubu. Beside, Peter Obi is trying to become the president of my country so I am going to continue to talk about him in whatever manner I deem fit. So kiddo, get off my handle and stop talking nonsense. |

I.e - we know Mr Atiku will win the primaries I.e - but let's pretend and claim that we will support Obi if he wins I.e - so that when (not if) Mr Obi loses, he will not leave ADC But we all know that, the northern owners of ADC planned Mr Atiku's victory long before Mr Obi was even brought into the picture. The only person who doesn't know how the ADC primary will end is Mr Obi because the other people are politically much smarter than him. The only person not aware of the plan is Mr Obi. |

It's the same thing Atiku said months ago, it's all conditional on if he emerges! hmmm |

If Peter Obi fails to get ADC ticket, his fan base will vote for Tinubu 👌📌💯. Atiku should support obi or forget it. |

Racoon:Both you and Penguin2, I remember Atiku once made a claim that he would have opted out of the 2023 PDP presidential primary if the ticket was zoned to the South East. He even accused Wike of working against the zoning and pushing Peter Obi out of the party. So, now that Atiku is fully in control of ADC, why is he not calling for the zoning of the party’s ticket to the south east? Why are Atiku’s supporters like Lamido insisting on a general primary election for all aspirants without zoning? |

seunmsg:Why are you so invested in the internal affairs of the major opposition party in the country? Is it because you care about their quest and want to see them succeed in their desire to oust Tinubu from power? |

Obi shouldn't be VC to anyone. It's either ADC gives him the ticket or he should leave to another party to avoid losing his followers including me |
| Re: I’ll Support Peter Obi If He Emerges Coalition Candidate - Sule Lamido by seunmsg(m): 12:42pm On Jul 05, 2025 |
AMINDA:Why are you northerners so interested in power grab from the south? Why are you so angry anytime we discuss the possibility of a southerner picking the ADC ticket in 2027? Atiku himself said he wanted PDP ticket zoned to SE in 2023. So, what’s wrong in reminding him to keep his promise now by ensuring the ticket of ADC is zoned to the south east? |

Won't Tamubuwal support Peter Obi too. Abi it is only Sule? |

seunmsg:Because Karma is a b.itch. Tinubu brought Buhari out of retirement to remove a Southern President but all of a sudden, you now want a Southern alliance or an all South affair? The leadership of the ADC will decide that via a transparent, free and fair primaries. The party will put its best foot forward, all things considered. But why are you threatened by an Atiku ticket in the ADC or is this borne out of your genuine concern to see ADC under Peter Obi displace Tinubu from Aso Rock. Sule Lamido just told you that Northerners have no qualms supporting Obi for the ticket but your overzealous concerns are beginning to look suspicious. Face your party affairs. |

AMINDA:I will not face my party affairs. I will choke mouth in ADC affair to my satisfaction until Peter Obi or any other southerner get the ticket. 2027 is still the turn of the south and all major political parties must field a southerner. |
| Re: I’ll Support Peter Obi If He Emerges Coalition Candidate - Sule Lamido by AMINDA: 1:08pm On Jul 05, 2025 |
seunmsg:Otherwise? Does Tinubu have what it takes to galvanise the South behind him if that will not be the case? We all know he doesn't and that explains your fear. Tinubu has no base in the South. He's counting on the North to vote him again in 2027. They won't. He only won 4 states in the Southwest and Rivers state in the Southsouth under questionable circumstances. You are not really in a strong position to determine anything, no thanks to Tinubu's nepotism and sheer incompetence. |
| Re: I’ll Support Peter Obi If He Emerges Coalition Candidate - Sule Lamido by seunmsg(m): 1:18pm On Jul 05, 2025 |
AMINDA:We are talking about ADC’s presidential ticket here and not about Tinubu’s path to victory. So, kindly stay on topic and tell Atiku to fulfill his promise by ensuring that the presidential ticket of his coalition party is microzoned to the south east. Period! |
| Re: I’ll Support Peter Obi If He Emerges Coalition Candidate - Sule Lamido by AMINDA: 1:30pm On Jul 05, 2025 |
seunmsg:Promise to who exactly? APC, PDP or ADC? Atiku contested the primaries under PDP in 2023 and he was on the ballot in the general election. He will do the same under ADC in 2027. You're not a stakeholder in the ADC. You should rather be happy that Atiku is making a mistake by contesting again in 2027. |

Atiku's desperate presidential ambition must be used as a sacrificial lamb for camel to go through the eye of a needle. |

seunmsg:YOU ARE SO WRONG. IT APPEARS APC HAS A CERTAIN VIRUS IT REALEASES THAT ATTACK PEOPLE'S THINKING FACULTY. ARE YOU A STAKEHOLDER IN ADC? SEE THE WAY YOU ANALYSE BLINDLY AS IF YOU ARE AN EXECUTIVE OF THE COALITION. THIS IS NO LONER BUSINESS AS USUAL. SACRIFICES WILL BE MADE AND YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT'S AT STAKE. MAYBE YOU ARE NOT AWARE THAT SOME OF YOUR APC GOVERNORS ARE SECRETLY FUNDING THE COALITION. THE EVIL PARTY APC WILL IMPLODE. PA AMODA SANGODELE IS NOT A UNIFIER. RATHER, HE USES PEOPLE TO GET TO THE TOP AND ABANDON. GO AND ASK EL-RUFAI. HE HAS USED SHETTIMA AND WILL DUMP HIM AS USUAL. |

G0odharddick:I am against the coalition but the stats back your stance. Obi has more votes than all of the other coalition members Combined! Atiku does not control the 6.7m votes he got in 2023. A lot of those votes are PDP votes and if you listen to some PDP members they are not ready to vote for him and the n fact many PDP members see his exit as good riddance so he probably only has 2-4m votes to his name. Obi votes even though he has lost some supporters are all his votes and his votes alone. |
