The people who slapped 30,000 sanctions on Russia are now telling you that despite that, Russian economy grew, oil revenues bigger than ever, budget surpluses grew, military complex grew, food production and distribution bigger than ever.

Russia is now exporting more than it imports with only 30% of it's exports being oil and gas. When was the last time the US had a budget surplus?

Russia now outproduces the entire NATO military on everything.

Very good. Chinese people are very intelligent and always thinking long term. Russia is doing China a favor by getting NATO & US bogged down in a losing war in Ukraine.
By the time the conflict might be over in Europe, China might have peacefully unified or annexed Taiwan.

China is also returning the favor to Russia by trading with Russia, Asia alone has the largest market so literally Moscow fully replaced the EU/European/American market. That's why Western illegal economic sanctions on Russia is not working.
Meanwhile, the EU have turned to satellite states, allowing unelected officials to be making foreign policy decisions for them.
You say you don't want to buy Russian gas, you blew Nord stream. Yet you're buying the same Russian gas via middlemen countries like India, China and Turkey .....

China has played it's hand and not in a very intelligent way. It should realise that Europe is a lot more concerned about the independence and security of Ukraine than the United States and it's pro Russia posture will only drive a wedge of trust between it and mainstream Europe.

And most of all it will send a signal to the US that as a country China is a bit wary of a conflict with the States. It should have remained mute on this Eastern European conflict despite it's tacid, underground support of the Kremlin.

The world is now fully bipolar, firmly split between East and West with Ukraine perhaps the new buffer, the defacto No Man's Land, chuck ablock with mines and tank traps.
