The Federal Government has stated its willingness to negotiate the release of Nnamdi Kanu , the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Minister of Works, Senator Dave Umahi , stated this on Friday night while addressing journalists in Lagos.

On the claim that the South East is being marginalised in federal appointments, Umahi dismissed it, arguing that Tinubu had done more for the region than many past leaders.

Please this is Umahi speaking not Tinubu. Tinubu knows Ibos will never vote for him and is not inexperienced to know that releasing Kanu will make no difference.

They agitated, cursed and complained when Ralph Nwosu was refused national recognition at the senate. Tinubu conferred on him the National honour and you didn’t hear anything from the Ibos. No thank you no well done no nothing!

Ibos are born to complain, the worst thing you can do is to do what they want in the hope they will stop complaining or be grateful for your gesture.
