NIGERIA CUSTOMS SERVICE ANNOUNCES SHORTLIST FOR CBT EXAMINATION

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) wishes to inform the general public and all applicants that the shortlist for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) stage of its ongoing recruitment exercise has been released.

Out of the over 573,000 applications received, a total of 65,000 candidates have been shortlisted nationwide to participate in the CBT.

All shortlisted candidates are advised to check their email and SMS regularly from today, July 3, 2025, for specific details regarding the venue and time of their examination.

The CBT will hold on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at JAMB-accredited CBT centres located within each candidate’s state of origin. Candidates are expected to arrive at the centre with their invitation letter for CBT printed from the official website and valid means of identification.

Please note that only candidates who successfully pass the CBT will be invited for the next stage, which is the interview and physical screening, scheduled to commence in August 2025.

The NCS remains committed to transparency, fairness, and excellence in its recruitment process. Applicants are advised to beware of fraudsters and rely only on official communication channels.

Those on FIRS slot, sharing of ÀpL is ongoing.. That invitation is a waste as far as your source will not push for your main APL.

NIA hopeful recruitment it in batches, Last week NIA contacted 16 people, and they will continue contacting
people, keep praying and keep pushing that's all.

DSS recruitment in November/December, you can start pushing by now.

@REA....I have a friend who said his connect told him that the news of sharing APL is false.He said his connect even told him that the ministry has not even officially received funds for their budget.. I don't know if this is true anyway.

The information might be fake and at the same time it might not be fake .......... Most of these people will not tell you the truth because in any corporate organization every single staff that find him/herself in a sensitive units like HR, admin, accounts, audit, pro and so on is meant to sign oath of secrecy form at the point of their entry........ Means nobody is allowed to link any official information unless you're authorized by the mgt to do so , failure to comply considered yourself sacked.
So to me no one can tell for now considering the way the statement was composed (descent, formal, typographic and grammatical error free )

oga, REA has shared and they gave up to 70 people. They have even done documentation and have resumed. The connect does not know what's up or he is deceiving your guy. I'm REA applicant too but i didn't get.

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Hon. Kayode Oladele, the Federal Commissioner representing Ogun State at the Federal Character Commission (FCC), as the Acting Chairman of the Commission.

SaharaReporters gathered that his appointment followed the completion of a five-year tenure of Dr. Muheebah Dankaka as the Executive Chairman of FCC.

The appointment of Oladele has been met with widespread commendation from some staff who described themselves as FCC Libration Group, who championed and carried out series of protests against the reappointment of Dr Dankaka, accusing her of inept leadership.

According to sources from the FCC Liberation Group, Hon. Oladele’s elevation to the critical national role marks a pivotal moment for both Ogun State and Nigeria at large, as he brings to the position a legacy of principled leadership, unwavering dedication to equity, and a deep understanding of constitutional governance.

"A seasoned legal practitioner, human rights advocate, and former Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Financial Crimes, Hon. Oladele has consistently distinguished himself as a man of vision, integrity, and accountability.

"His track record in public service, marked by diligence, intellectual depth, and patriotism, makes him eminently qualified to steer the affairs of the commission," the group said.

SaharaReporters had reported late June that some workers from both the head office and various state branches staged a coordinated protest opposing the renewal of the outgoing chairman’s appointment.

Amid the tension that surged at the Federal Character Commission (FCC) headquarters in Abuja on Thursday 26th June, 2024 following the protest, the workers called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu not to renew the outgoing Chairman of Federal Character Commission Dr. Muheebah Dankaka.

The protesters cited the collapse of leadership and alleged mismanagement within the commission as reasons for their demand.

The staff members expressed frustration over what they described as a lack of effective leadership and poor working conditions under Dankaka’s tenure.

They urged the Nigerian government to intervene and sack the chairman to restore order and functionality to the commission. The protest highlights the internal challenges facing the FCC, an agency responsible for ensuring the implementation of the federal character principle in appointments and promotions within the federal civil service.

Less than 24 hours to the end of her tenure as Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), loyalists of Dr. Muheeba Farida Dankaka reportedly mobilised thugs to stage a counter-protest against staff members who had earlier demonstrated over her five-year leadership.

The workers' representatives appealed for urgent intervention from the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, alleging that Dankaka is making desperate efforts to return to office through bribery.

Allegations are rife that she has paid the sum of N500 million, and this money will be shared among all the offices for her reappointment," the workers' representatives stated in a letter dated June 26, 2025.

However, on Friday morning, thugs mobilised to the Commission's headquarters on a solidarity protest in support of Dankaka.

A staff member of the commission expressed concerns that the situation could have escalated out of control if not for the prompt response of the police.
