Elections cannot be rigged in the North, not when the candidate is unpopular. What Wike did in Rivers can only happen in the South. Tinubu is already buying out all the Southern governors so as to replicate the Rivers template.

This is why all APC handles are expecting Peter Obi to be the ticket holder so he can be rigged out while the North looks on with indifference. Southerners will not defend his votes. The North has the advantage of numbers and they are willing to die defending their votes. Peter Obi knows this fact too but I don't think the Obidients know it yet.

Substantially, yes. He ran against the tide when half of the North felt that power should shift to the South. With Tinubu's treachery and performance, Northerners no longer feel that way and will now unabashedly vote for their son in 2027. Tinubu will not enjoy such consensus in the South. At best, there will be voter apathy in the SS and SE. APC knows, hence why they need an all South affair in order to rig out Obi and create voter apathy in the North.

Substantially how? What are the correct figures ? Have you removed middle belt states vote from the Core North in your imaginary 5.6M 'Northern " votes for Tinubu?

Only candidates like GEJ and any VP or Atiku with Obi only as VP or NOI with a strong Notherner as VP can defeat Tinubu. Word to Obidients, In 2023, Northerners gave Tinubu 5.6m votes out of his 8.3m inspite of their son Atiku being on the ballot. The number could have been more if not for naira and fuel scarcity. It was a payback to the South for the favour done to Buhari. Unfortunately, Tinubu won, turned around and casted northern allies like Elrufai aside and betrayed northern interests in an arrogant manner.

A good way for Obi to introduce himself to the North will be to deputise Atiku. By 2031, Atiku will be too old to run anyways and Northerners would have familiarised themselves with Obi enough to return the favour and vote him in as president. It's a thing of pride to a Northerner and a religious obligation to keep one's word which is also why they pay back betrayal with equal fierceness. This is not an emotional analysis. It's reality.

Atiku will win the North with a very high margin and defend his votes as well. The same cannot be said of Obi. Tinubu has also lost a huge chunk of his 5.6m northern voters to Atiku. He has to make up for that in the South.

After buying off all the Southsouthern governors, Tinubu is already working on causing voter apathy in the East by releasing Nnamdi Kanu. So where would Obi's bloc votes come from? If Nnamdi Kanu reaches a deal with the FG to start threatening "No referendum, no election". Can any Easterner dare him enough to come out to vote? Can Obi defend his votes in Southsouth? If yes, Tinubu would not have succeeded in declaring a State of Emergency in Rivers and getting away with it. Tinubu won't try it in the North.

The Northerners have an actual axe to grind with Tinubu and Tinubu holds little to no leverage over them. They just need the right motivation. At this point, Obi needs the coalition more than the coalition needs him.

SE no dey gullible like that, even Simon ekpa said the same thing before 2023 election, yet people came out enmass for Obi (not all polling units had election)

Mind you, Obi won more states aside SE compared to SE

Atiku barely won 5-6 states in the north, with Kwankwaso joining APC, Atiku chances in the north has become slimmer.

Go and check the figures Obi had in the south east in 2023. If Obi is not contesting for the presidency, voters turn out in the south east might not even be up to 2023 voters turn out. Tinubu won't lose scandalously in the south east in 2027.

Not every obidient who voted for Obi in 2023 will vote for Atiku in 2027.

And it seems you forget the 2027 election is not going to be a two horse race, the PDP will also partake in the election.

And you can't just claim Obi's support will get Atiku massive votes in the south east. Obi candidate won't even win the governorship election in Anambra state. See eh, if Obi is mot contesting, voters turn out in the south east will be low and Atiku can never have more than 90% of the votes in the south east like Obi had in 2023.

If the ADC present Atiku, Atiku will struggle to have more than 30% of the votes from the south east if even if Obi support him.

let's be honest, do you think Tinubu will have more votes he had in 2023? Without INEC doing some padding to his results?

The only election Peter Obi contested as a presidential candidate, South East had its lowest turnout

Anambra for example, has always been producing 500k votes every presidential election until 2023

Obi's weakest point is the North, and Atiku is in the South.

Northerners will not vote for an Igbo man. They wont even vote for a Northern Christian. Obi will have to start as a running mate. Once Atiku has done his stint, he will then endorse Obi for the presidential slot. That's when Northerners will vote for him.

Tell me any former president who has embarked on a mass capital projects in South East the way Tinubu is doing? You can adopt anybody as your consensus candidate but you have no basis to refer to him a 'taboo' in Igbo land. I ask you, what exactly is president Tinubu's offence to the Igbos?

This mentality is why the SS is now ahead of the South East in all political and developmental indices.

Just last month, an Igbo poster was calling a SS state a beacon of development in the Southern corridor. He couldn't point to a single state in the East.
The South East will NEVER amount to anything without the support of Tinubu.

May God punish anyone asking Peter Obi to deputize for Atiku.

It is only in Nigeria that merit is being lead by mediocrity.

In 2023, Peter Obi ran on his own strength, built a movement that won the election in 2023 (which was denied), will now make way for Atiku that ran under the entire PDP structure/machinery and could only get marginal head-off above Peter Obi. Note that structure here means that the party have strong candidates campaigning for Senate and HOR in their locality, and most grassroots voters voted for Presidential candidate based on the Senatorial and HOR candidate sway, LP did not get any of this advantage. Even APC knows that if Obi is on the ballot and using a national strong machinery, he will win Tinubu before 12noon on the day of election.

PDP election situation room report in Lagos confessed that the votes allocated to Obi in Lagos were 400k+ below the votes LP got, same time happened in other states, the entire world saw the reckless displayed in Rivers, I monitored Akwa-Ibom collation and saw how LP votes were changed to increase PDP votes. Same story across the country.

Whenever we get our acts together in our electoral systems, all these charlatans will disappear from our political landscape. A situation where a third class student in the University or Law school , because he is from a certain region, becomes a judge under rapid promotion and starts interpreting the law that he could not pass as a student is part of what has kept Nigeria behind.

You cannot relegate Obi with his huge electoral value to a Vice position or out of the contest because he is from a region that you do not want to lead you. You like Obi's message, but you do not want him to lead and actualize those messages.

IF OBI IS NOT GETTING THAT TICKET, LET TINUBU CONTINUE TO 2031, NORTH CANNOT KEEP TAKING THE ENTIRE COUNTRY FOR A RIDE

This is one of the narratives that a good electoral system will show the strength of the Igbo nation.
In the last election, just like in 2015, the BIVAS was used in the South but jettisoned in the North where business as usual continued.
HEAR ME WELL, THE NORTH EAST AND NORTH-WEST DO NOT HAVE THAT VOTING STRENGTH AS WE ARE MADE TO BELIEVE.

Once we get a system that cannot be manipulated easily, you will be shocked on the voting strength of these two blocks.
It is only in Nigeria that a desert zone has population more than the Mangrove Savannah cheesy

Then coming to the Igbo voting population, it is no longer news, that in every state in Nigeria , outside the south-east, after the indigenous people population, the next highest homogeneous ethnic group that takes the second place in Population remains the Igbos, this stats is true from Sokoto, to Adamawa, to Niger, to Oyo, to River.

So how do you now evaluate an ethnic group like this with only their people living in the SE states.
Once we get our acts together, you will start seeing surprises, and the right people starts taking their rightly place.
