Some people put Joseph to be 90 years old saying he was a divorcee with a family already but the bible is silent on that.

But then judging that Joseph was a carpenter who already had his own "home" he couldn't be less than 25

This is nothing but religious nonsense pedalled particularly by those of the religion of Christianity. There is no Biblical evidence that she was a child at the time that she was married. Even more telling ,the conversation she reportedly had with her cousin, Elizabeth -- an older lady at the time of her pregnancy-- , reveals that Mary was most likely at least 20, probably a lot older, at the time in question.

2. What leads you to believing this was Jewish custom at the time? What evidence were you presented with to confirm this claim for you? We're all women in the land married off within that age range during that time?

There isn't 👀! It's a tale pushed by "Muslims" based on a catholic article that refutes the rumour of Mary being 12 and Joseph 90 as it was being speculated by some.

This is among other things Muslims like to use along with the tale of Rebecca being three years old!

So you are saying Jews are Muslims?

From the bible I glean that girls marry maybe from the age of 16-18 which would be when a girl enters the university as we have today

Where did the scholars who fed you this tale get their ideas regarding the ripe age for girls back 2000 years ago from? Ever wondered or asks yourself of this?

These verses juxtaposed different verses which compared different individuals of different age. The Bible never at anytime referred to a teenager as a woman.

Mary was of marriagable age at the time and was already in relationship. People only bring this up to justify what the other fake prophet did, even if Mary was 12,it won't matter because she got impregnated by "words" according to the Bible and the Quran. She wasn't penetrated against her wish, battered and beaten but She wholeheartedly accepted the word with Joy saying "Be it unto me according to thy word"

Finally, tell us about Jesus, He never married a 12 year old, He never fornicated, He never fought war that people might accept His religion, even though He had the power, He never made Himself King, He showed humans a different approach to Life. He said "love your enemies" His word showed he was from the future and from the past because till now after more than 2000 years, we still couldn't catch up.

No one knows.

Everyone is just speculating.

Even the historians can't put a finger on any age range. They're just speculators regarding this matter .

Definitely less than 20 because that's the age by which males are supposed to be married. As a betrothed virgin she should have been like 13-16yeara old
