Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has declared that the presidential ambition of Labour Party leader Peter Obi is a closed chapter, saying his time in Nigerian politics has passed.

Wike made this statement during a thanksgiving service held on Sunday in Abuja to celebrate completed projects executed by his administration in the FCT.

“He can never be president again; his time has passed,” Wike said.

“He’s now saying democracy is no longer working in Nigeria because he’s no longer in power, but when he was Governor of Anambra, democracy was working.”

In the same event, Wike spoke about the coalition forming around the African Democratic Congress (ADC), but insisted it would not change the reality of Nigeria’s political structure.

Meanwhile, the Vicar of St. James Anglican Church in Asokoro, Abuja, Ben Idume, commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing Wike as the FCT Minister.

During his sermon, the cleric described Tinubu as a leader with foresight, capable of identifying those who can deliver.

“The President, himself, is a visionary president,” the vicar said. “He can see vision somehow. That was why he saw that this man (Wike) can do something. Tinubu can see vision, whether he closes his eyes or opens them.”

Wike is now the determinant of who will be Nigeria president or not. A shameless man who has destabilize his party and rig Rivers presidential election against his party PDP so as to be minister of FCT under APC without his party approval. In as much as I know wike is the cause of the problems Nigerians are facing today. If he did not connive with 5 PDP governors and rig Rivers state election against his party will Tinubu be in government today as president? Remove rigging let me see how Tinubu will be reelected as president come 2027.

Something is seriously wrong with Wike, since the unveiling of this coalition party, man has been talking uncontrollably, most times inappropriately. He needs to take a chill pill, if God says Tinubu will win, coalition will do nothing.

The emergence of the ADC and the fact that key players kept the details secret until the final moments was something that Wike and the APC never saw coming. Wike is now on the defensive. His use as a wild card in the PDP is now redundant. Tinubu will now give him an ultimatum to fully defect to the APC or be fired as minister.

Either Atiku or Peter obi is a toast.

If the main opposition ticket is given to Atiku, obidients wont vote him. Tinubu will win

If it is given to Peter obi, northerner will rather Tinubu finish his 8 years.
