This is directly on Donald trump and Elon musk. They cut off funding and jobs of agencies like the weather service and NEMA, even the orientation agency that's to alert citizens of impending natural disasters wasn't spared. To what end? So the billionaires can get tax cuts? So they can keep pumping billions to Isreal to fight senseless wars? Is this how he intend to make America great again?

This same hypocrite Trump berated Biden/Harris administration when they gave victims of hurricane in Florida less than $1k, at least the NEMA was fully functional and worked round the clock to assist the affected victims. Now tornados are ripping through the Midwest, Texas is being ravaged by floods and his administration couldn't care less.

They can't fund their emergency services but they can fund wars in other countries. Anybody defending these people is seriously sick in the head.

Mind you the $1k was for emergency needs like baby needs, food, water etc in the meantime before they can put in official claims through their insurance companies for proper compensation.

With proper management, $1k can buy cheap food for a couple of weeks. That’s proper emergency fund for essentials only.

Yours is different though because you have to rely on what you read or hear. So it’s understandable.

But honestly it’s the people who personally lived through his first presidency and still supported him I don’t understand. He NEVER made one decision in his first term that was thought through. Just bludgeoning everything with a sledgehammer like a bull in a china shop.

Texas is more like home of the Latinos though. Though it has the highest black population, it's not even in the top 20 states with Black concentration (as a percentage of the population).
