nateevs:bro don't whine yourself what xammax wrote is 💯 kudus is better than madueke, it has zero to do with you over hyping nwaneri and wanting both him and kudus |

Kudus is not talking to any other club at this point but only Spurs. He’s set his eyes on the move. So we gotta look somewhere else for reinforcements. Won’t be surprised if Madueke stays put and we miss out on both Kudus and Nwaneri. |

nateevs:Are you not already sick and tired of the overbooking in wing positions Can you name any wingers at Liverpool the EPL Champions aside Salah and Diaz It's this wingers overbooking feewlishness that Emenalo used to do back then that made us chase away Salah and KDB Not to mention puts the manager in a tactical hamstring of having to practically play 4-2-4 to accommodate all the wingers while one of the key components of that 2 in midfield is not fit for purpose to carry the workload I am looking for how to sell Madueke AND Pedro Neto (as well as Nkunku, Sterling, Felix, Mudryk and Carney) WITHOUT ANY FURTHER ADDITION of wingers and we will still be good and overstocked with Gittens. Joao Pedro, Palmer, Estevao and Tyrique That's 5 wingers for 2 positions, people still dey mention Kudus and Nnwaneri. Utter madness |

nateevs:bro if everything is about dribbling ability I wouldn't be hyped about kudus who had even far less "significant output" as you claim, and when I said you had stm, it's because you forget how valuable madueke was when neto and sancho were playing nonsense, though I am glad neto has recovered and is doing well now I won't even call his one way traffic football "flattering to deceive" mentioning those times madueke didn't run back like he usually does, is like mentioning those times neto losing the ball, falls or does some nonsense that gifts the opponents a chance No be here I dey when I dey talk say Estevao will bench Madueke on the first day, and peops were making the same case for Madueke then. Now y'all watch Estevao against Cucurella and you certify.you are now saying that "he stands a better chance with establishing himself with likes of Estavao" meanwhile you were mentioning kudus up and down. I would be glad if chelsea signs nwaneri and not both, well it's not like we will sign kudus who looks likely to join thfc |

Griffon:madueke doesn't need to stay put even if we can't get either of them though, it's not like players like Elliot, Tyler, fofana them have finished in the market, we even have paez and t.george. we have enough midfielders for palmer to play wings, so we are good |

@nateevs Look at where Arjen Robben, who has become a standard for playing a left footed winger on the right, started from. You are all obsessed with how the likes of messi, salah, and Robben, played during their peak years not knowing that they had to perfect the act of playing as a RW by starting from as LW. The match that made us to buy salah, which player was he terrorising? This player would give you the answer to were he also started from. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DLkWURnMwsN/?igsh=bGFwcTd4aW5mNnEz https://www.instagram.com/reel/DLkWURnMwsN/?igsh=bGFwcTd4aW5mNnEz |

Ibime:From a tactical perspective, Maresca's system is heavily reliant on wingers. So winger provisioning takes priority. From a numbers perspective, we had Mudryk, Sancho, Madueke, Neto and still went and signed Estevao. Right now, we have lost Sancho, Mudryk and Madueke. If somehow we kept all 3, we still would have kept Estevao on top. Right now, we only have Gittens as replacement. 3 out, 1 in. But I ask for 3 out, 3 in and it's a problem? No! We are not overprovisioning the department, considering we now have CL. Business wise, if Nwaneri becomes available as a result of Arsenal mis-purchasing Madueke, you take that opportunity. Because worst case scenario, you make money. We are in PSR era baba, we must flog valuable assets year in year out to stay afloat. You know the drill. Nkunku, Sterling, Felix, and the rest are all gone. Not part of the squad. Nothing concerns me with those one. If we can move CSO, we can move them. |

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 4:57pm On Jul 06, 2025 |
nateevs:This is rubbish. Can you play more than 2 wingers at a time? Better yet, please name the wingers in Marescas Leicester team. Maresca has no say and is following the template of our feewlesh TDs direction There's a reason I asked for the wingers in Liverpool. If you like, you can extend that to Man City, PSG, Madrid and co They all have a template of 3 CMs non-negotiable with only 3 or 4 regular wingers playing consistently and only 2 at any given time. None of these teams use a traditional no10 But our feewlish TDs will take one CM slot, give it to a winger/AM, then buy 3 players for that position, forever shutting out the possibility of playing 3 traditional CMs WHICH IS THE WINNING TEMPLATE FOR MOST BIG CLUBS IN THE WORLD. PSG cannot play without their 3 traditional CMs, Liverpool cannot. Man City. Barcelona, Madrid do not. But somehow you want us to believe that Maresca who had a midfield of KDH, Harry Winks and Ndidi is wedded to the idea of removing midfielders for wingers. Maresca that only used two wingers at Leicester for the whole season (Mavididi and Fatawu) We should continue using failed template that historically is vastly inferior to the traditional 4-3-3 in the name of stacking wingers and wonder why we are not at the top table consistently. Since Emenalo brought this template to Chelsea, we have only challenged for the title 3 times (2014, 2015 and 2017) and on almost all 3 occasions, we did it by moving away from playing 3 wingers behind a striker £1.3bln down the drain on this policy with no tangible result and no consistency |

Selling Madueke because Estevao is coming will be an avoidable mistake, Madueke is improving and is an able deputy across the frontline

Anyone who thinks signing million wingers is improving a squad instead of getting the CM right should look at Brighton Since Brighton went to playing 3 wingers behind the striker (Mitoma, JP and Minteh/Rutter), they have been falling down the table for the last 2 seasons There is no winger at Brighton who you won't want at Chelsea whether Mitoma. JP or Minteh, yet they keep getting worse because they sacrificed their central midfield/ or a 3rd centreback for more wingers Even their wingers they sent away or benched (Encisco, Buonanote, Adingra) had them performing better than they are now because their middle was stronger then. Same feewlesh format Chelsea is following, buying more and more wingers and sending away other wingers hoping the next winger will make the key difference, while chasing the law of diminishing returns on wingers If Encisco, Buonanote and Adingra could achieve better league finishes than João Pedro, Mitoma and Minteh, that should tell you their solution never lay in chasing more wingers. cc Nateevs |

I don't know if it's the quality of the opposition But I think maresca implemented a new pattern in this CWC and we have been playing well Asides the flamengo game where he admitted to experimenting |

Ibime:For me it's not even about million wingers, I always believe that having too many good players for a position could be counter productive and it wouldn't take long before one of them leave to a club where they can play and be the protagonist. We saw it with Fabregas/Thiago at Barca, Salah/KDB, Aubameyang/Immobile, Palmer at City, Ozil/Isco, Benzema/Higuain, Sanchez/Neymar/Pedro, Bravo/Stegen, Alvarez at city and many more. Some examples may not match but the point is that a bloated squad doesn't last. Eventually they'll want to leave to be regulars elsewhere. So my theory is this, say a team is playing with 4:3:3, for the front 3, five players are okay, at max 6. For the midfield, 5 players okay, max 6. Talented youth players can fill in when needed. Barcola is the 4th man for PSG. When everyone is fit he's on the bench even though he's playing lots of games. Eventually he'll look to be the main man elsewhere. At Bayern he'll be starter so I see him leaving. May not be this summer though. Madueke, Estavoa, Pedro, Jackson, Delap, Neto, Gittens, George is overkill for three positions even if he(Mmadu) leaves, adding other players unless Mbape level player is just a waste at this point. I didn't even add Nkunku and Palmer. |
