You’ll hear a lot of white elephant projects like this at super inflated prices before the end of their tenure
EFCC please take note and start tracing all the money because most of it is not going into the projects

Why is the focus on Lagos? ₦320 Billion is a lot of money that can do a lot on the welfare of Nigerians
Do they tell you the money will be taking from federation account?
Na private business to be recoup by tolling, ogbeni.
Same things igbos should do for your imaginary onitsha river dredging instead of waiting for Nigeria's free oyel money.
Lagos did same with Eko Atlantic, Banana Island, Leeki Deep Seaport etc. Igbos too should be strategic and partner with privates.

Impressive.

A cable stayed bridge. That's gonna be similar to the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge and will last for 100 years with regular checks.

Would you trust these people with building a cable stay bridge that would last that long? cheesy

Amotolongbo:
That is going to be about $210000000 (two hundred and ten million dollars).
Not really so bad for a cable stayed bridge which will last 100years

David whatever ur surname is...

Suspend this project and let's use this money to tackle hunger in the Land...

That you family is exempted from hunger doesn't mean you shouldn't be considerate...

I don't know who you people truly worship or pray too... because wickedness runs in your blood stream...

You mean at FEC should join hands together with private investors and foreign investors tackle hunger and insecurity... Then along side fix national projects...

Since it's Lagos, it would be approved expeditiously and the job would be given to a good contractor. Other regions, revoke contracts from credible vendors and hand them to cronies who take till eternity to deliver the projects
You are really on point!! A case in point is the Kaduna - Abuja expressway that was revoked from JB .

Lagos is tiny piece of land with an overpopulation that puts a lot of pressure on its infrastructure. The solution is not to build more infrastructure that will attract more population and put more pressure on its limited land mass.
The best approach will to spread more critical projects in other parts of the country to achieve equitable population spread

Girder bridge is better for that kind of traffic , cable stay bridge have limits on the load it can bear
I guess it's the other way round. Cable stayed bridges are stronger than girder bridged while suspension bridges are the strongest. In terms of carrying heavy loads.

The bridge is FG property but the sponsorship will be Private investors. They will recoup their investments in form of tolling. That's the plan by Umahi and FG.

I don't even know. I guess it's due to structural limitations of that particular bridge, you know say Nigeria things dey always dey different, and may be to also control traffic in that region. If trucks begin pass that place the whole area may be messed up.
