Super Falcons rising star, Omorinsola Babajide playing at her first women's senior tournament gave Nigeria a comfortable 2-0 lead in the first half. A former English International at U-21 level, she made her Nigeria debut in October 2023. Babajide also delivered a fine assist for Asisat Oshoala's first goal against Tunisia in the ongoing WAFCON tournament in Casablanca, Morocco. Babajide, a Liverpool fan played for the Liverpool Women FC from 2018-2022, struck the Diogo Jota trademark celebration in honour of Liverpool's No 20 who alongside his brother died in a car crash last Thursday. 44 Likes 4 Shares

I was disappointed. Nairaland didn't care to create a live thread while they were playing. This is nothing but what is called INFERIORITY COMPLEX. She didn't pay tribute to our own Peter Rufai. Imagine a Female player of the Portuguese team, scoring a goal today and then choose to forget their own but pay tribute to Peter Rufai.
