Today reminded me why I don’t joke with my phone. It started with clouds next thing thunder. Then that downpour that makes you question all your life choices, you know we're now in rainy season in Nigeria

No umbrella. No shelter. Just me, my soaked canvas bag, and my phone.I was sure I’d be looking for a new phone tomorrow.

But somehow we survived, me and my phone!
No flickering screen. No weird moisture inside the camera lens. Still responding like nothing happened guyy And I’m not even using one of those "tank-like" expensive flagships phones o

Just a midrange phone I bought a few weeks ago because of its battery and storage. Didn’t expect it to handle rainy-day wahala too.Turns out, some phones are built tougher than we think.

For those wondering yeah, it’s the realme C75x.
I didn’t buy it thinking it’d be some rugged beast. I just needed a phone with decent storage and battery. But today? It earned my respect omoo!

Anyone else ever had their phone survive a serious storm?
Or was I just lucky? 😂

Phones these days dey humble us o. We think na midrange, but dem get senior man behavior.. Kudos to realme there devices as been giving premium value

There was a time I was always scared for my phone whenever it was raining. Not anymore though😌😌

With my current phone I can't. I would try find shelter so I can share not only myself but also my phone 😂

You are not just lucky, that's one of the qualities of the phone - Water resistance. It just saved you a lot at that moment. It's not a feature you can find in all midrange phones.

C75x is slowly proving to be that low-key warrior phone

But with this C75x... I think I'd still be scared to try it

I can't even try this with my current phone o 😭. Cos after the rain don beat me finish, water go come full my eyes 🤣🤣. But it's nice to know it lives up to what it says in social media

Most phones nowadays especially the new ones with type C (water doesn't get in through that port ) are waterproof to some extent. But some exceptions among them with IP69 ratings are nigh impossible for water to penetrate under normal circumstances

A little drizzle and some phones start acting like they saw a ghost. Honestly, water resistance should be standard by now even for budget phones.

I think that's the new level budget phones are stepping into. All thanks to the realme C75X and C75 for such availability
