Sometimes you just wonder how life could be to some people. Fair to some, and unfair to others.
Some are happy, while others are not. Some think happiness is free. Some say happiness is a choice and that you can decide to be happy or not. How is happiness free?

Who wouldn't want to be happy always?

If happiness was free, there would be no depression resulting in suicide.
Sometimes you just need to bond with your family. My mum keeps begging me to pls try and save some money to enable me come and visit her in the village. I keep promising her every year, but no way. It hurts me. If I was comfortable, I would have asked her to visit me and even stay with me permanently. But no means.
The last time I celebrated Christmas, Easter and any other festive season with my family was 20years ago. At the time, I was just six years. Two of my siblings are younger than me. I'm the oldest of them all.
At age 7, we all scattered when our father died. Since that time till now, we've never had a time together with my mum and siblings. Its painful to me. It becomes even more painful when during the Christmas season, you see your neighbors traveling to celebrate with their families and you're all alone in same neighborhood as everyone has traveled. It happens year in, year out. A neighbor even asked me some time ago if I had a family.
I've not seen my siblings for 15 years and I've not seen my mum for 12 years. We just talk and chat on the phone. We are now strangers to each other. If you're not in my shoes, you'll never understand this. I'm not at ease at all.
I don't even know what a family is anymore. The name sounds so odd to my ears.
I pray I'm able to get a place in the township that can accommodate all of us so I can invite them and we can celebrate one of such Festive Seasons together. May God help us.

The only way you can really understand what those at the recieving end, society's abandoned are going through is to be in their shoes.

Most of you here that are privileged, the fortunates, the Haves, will not let that happen. When you hear what people are going through, you will never believe it,

Instead of asking alot of police kind of interrogative questions why not provide a helping hand if you have the capacity and are in the position to provide the opportunity.

That's why this country is terribly afflicted.
With all these winchy winchy attitude, where has it led majority of people in the country? This sentiment you apply in wrongly giving opportunities to the wrong persons that will betray you eventually.

Backwardness, retrogression, insecurity (you can't embark on a journey at will without casting and binding. The transport fare sef is even crazy.

Something (opportunities) that citizens of other countries are rejecting, because they don't have need or time for it that is what Nigerians are rushing at due to excruciating hardship and hunger.

You guys that are saying you changed your mind and will not help op again because of his attitude may God have mercy on your souls

This regime govt have transmitted and infected them with the "lack of compassion" bug.

Perhaps you may need to relocate to the village and take up farming because it seems you are not succeeding in your present location.
How did I come to such conclusions? Because you couldn't not afford tfare to visit your mum or family members.

Dear brother, what you just narrated is a sad story of 90% of the world.

Don't let it bother you. Life is not easy, has never been easy and will never be easy.

Soft life is not real. It is super fake.

Most of these people you think bonding with their families may not truly be real.

I am not saying you should not make physical connection with your family or that family union is fake. No.

Family is actually the most important unit of a society. Without familes, there are no societies.

But sometimes, your phone connection may even be far more real than those who travel to go and see each other.

While true family connections do exist, there are untrue ones too. There are familed that when they gather, it is always kitikiti katata. The irony is that it is also what makes life interesting.

My Final advice: Travel and See your mother and family. Make out time while everyone is alive. Disconnect from the rat race and see people that matter in your life while they are alive..
