Anyone still bitter over any looming or past election loss should push for restructuring, that way you get to govern yourself and not bother about zoning or rotational presidency. And if its secession makes it even better, the National Assembly is there. All what we cry about is possible. Someone pushed for local govt autonomy and got it, even tax reform got it, regional development commissions in the bag and all sorts. Democracy thrives with negotiations and concessions and not threats. |

There are a host of tribes that haven't gotten presidency, yet are not threatening war over it. Still, many, no scratch that, ALL nigerian tribes are like the Igbos. They want the presidency so that they can chop money, and get some jobs. Nothing for development and industrialization...just share tomorrow's money today. Meanwhile they all got states, and LGA...and they won't focus on them. They won't vote for the Lee Kwam Yew's among them, they all want someone that will share palliatives and subsides to them...without thought as to where the money to fund these things is going to come from. And if we split the country, the same old show. EVERY african country is like that. Eastern Congo has 100 millita groups, including M23. Y'all think they are fighting for justice...no. For control of resources. |

WizardOfNG:Some Of of these separatist from ipob are intentionally making this provocative statements to hurt Igbo political interests because they use the marginalisation excuse for Biafra agitation.Igbo presidency will finally kill their agitation that is the reason most of them indirectly work against Peter Obi. |
