I was amongst those that spoke against her suspension especially for the 6 months as it will deny her constituents the privilege of representation at the red chamber just as the court ruled. However, has she fulfilled her own part of the judgement?
Has she written the apologies?

Without being unnecessarily emotional and sentimental, the question people should be asking is whether she has fulfilled all the conditions to merit her "storming" the red chamber come Tuesday.

Again, did the court categorically state in its judgement that she must immediately return to the Senate?


This is why the Senate is demanding for the CTC of the judgement in order to determine the next step to take.


After all, the Senate has the right to file an appeal against the judgement.


Whatever be the case, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan may end up prolonging and even extending her suspension if she continues to act in a manner that suggests recalcitrance.


Bulldozing her way into the hallowed chamber without dotting the i's and crossing the t's concerning her suspension may amount to an invasion and a continued act of insurbordination.

This woman is troublesome.

There was no court order on her reinstatement.

The judge said the 1999 constitution did not envisage a situation where a senator would be suspended for six months. She described the suspension as lawful, according to senate rules, but excessive. She asked that the senate should consider reinstating her.

The judge did not ask the suspended senator to resume. There is no such order. She was also found guilty for contempt to court for publishing a satirical letter against Akpabio despite a court order saying both parties must refrain from discussing the matter. She was fined five million and asked to publish an apology for disobeying the court order on two national dailies and on Facebook. She did not do that.

If she resumes on her own, the senate is within their rules to punish her again.

It is very obvious that she likes.to draw attention and lots of drama.

Well, they will have to read through the CTC when it's given to them and know what it is before her followers start engaging in controversial talks...

I look forward to her putting up the apology before in the national dailies before she even thinks of joining her colleagues..

So, because someone enrolled in a school, school fees paid in full. Does it mean the school won't act on its rules and regulations when the student is found guilty of breaking the school rules by suspending or expelling the student.

You only pardon people that recognize their offense (s) and take responsibility for their actions, show remorse and willing to amend the situation.

She has not been apologetic, remorseful or orderly. She has not even taken responsibility and admitted her offense in the Senate.

You are asking the Senate to obey court order. The court didn't terminate the 6months suspension, go and read the judgement again.

The only power that can terminate the 6months suspension is the Senate, that is period and certain.

The person you quoted is even better than you in reasoning. You want Senate to obey court order but you don't have a problem with Natasha disobeying the same court order that told her to apologise on the pages of newspapers and her FB page. 😂

Why are you trying to misinform us or misrepresenting the case.

Why was she suspended? Was it because she accused Godswill Apabio or she was unruly, disruptive and disrespectful in the Senate chamber on that day she was requested to move to her seat?

Most of her followers, and Senator Natasha Apoti herself, exhibit this same ineptitude and ignorance that you are currently exhibiting. The judge gave her 48hours for the apologies but she didn't do her own part and expect them to do her bid, anyway as usual, her mob and new found love the Obidient noise makers will be on the Internet cheering her up. The distractions continues, I feel the present government want to use her to divert the ADC coalition noise.

If she want to get back to the senate as soon as possible and give her people good representation they deserve then she should do her part first either apologising to the senate of the court, but I believe she is to apologize to the senate. The court acknowledged that she did a wrong thing but only said the punishment was too excessive.
