Most mechanics in Nigeria are just naturally evil and lack empathy

That's why they are mechanics in the first place

This made me laugh though.


I guess it depends on the nature of the mechanic at hand. If your definition of rough is aggressive pedaling then that can be explainable.

I guess they want you to come back again quickly with your car because one or two issues would have occurred during the rough driving...

They want the car to start making funny sounds . It's market strategy

The very good mechanic who does my routine maintenance almost killed some POS woman in the garage where he works, I made the mistake of giving him my keys to drive out of a very crowded corner, dude forgot it was a crowded auto garage with hundreds of car owners, mechanics, traders, he pedalled to the floor in reverse and almost lost control because he didn't expect the response he got from the car, the shock was so much that people couldn't shout, they just exclaimed with mouths wide open.
I remember this day and still thank God the POS woman walking just behind didn't get knocked down, my car and myself would have been in trouble 😂, It would not make much difference that the mechanic was driving and not me, never again!!

Any mechanic that owns a personal car, does not drive rough. The rough ones are those who don't have their owns cars, so anytime a vehicle enters the hand they will want to do everything all at the same time before the owner takes the vehicle.

Most mechanics are evil. I have witnessed a case where a man had to “apologize” to his car because of the way the mechanic drove it. As said earlier, the ones who rough handle the cars are the one who do not have cars of their own, hence, they don’t know anything about responsibility.
