He did not conduct election for over 7 years. It took the court to order an election which he did less than 3 months before hand over.

To start with, while the crook was spending a whooping 37 billion naira on retirement expenditure and a miserly 38 billion on capital expenditure, he spend just over 2 billion on education.

Same thing Obaseki did exactly in Edo state, bluntly refused to conduct LG elections for 7 and a half years and on his way out, he did some sham elections putting his useless people in.
