I was in Enugu State earlier today to flag off the inaugural flight and operations of the State-owned airline Enugu Air, currently being operated by XEJET.

I was welcomed by the State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, members of the State Executive Council, leaders and elders of Enugu State, traditional rulers and a colourful crowd of excited citizens.

Please @Bade007 can you go to IBADAN Airport to ask that question?

With all the IGR noise from your region, you should be like DUBAI. grin

Don't stress yourself about IGBOs and their region. They don't disturb themselves about yours.

These leased planes are just too small. It may drain the state's resources unless it is handed over to Private Sector

That is the best for accountability and transparency, this way, who is who will purchase the ticket and stick to the rules and regulations, unlike the Government, where the public officials do not pay for the flight and may even have the plane delayed for their selfish interest, thereby crippling the State.

Good one!
Igbo people are business-oriented and patronage from them will make the airport to thrive.
I am not too sure of the future of the airports in the wild wild west.
Maybe agbero will be collecting òwò aeroplane or òwò airport.
This display of uncivilized conduct by agbero will lead to underdevelopment in the wild wild west.

Because the state government can't manage an airline and has to hand it over to a competent private firm to manage the operations of the airline.
Re: Pictures Of Enugu Air's Aeroplanes by esnbrutality: 11:19pm On Jul 07, 2025
The Airport in OYO State has a very large passenger manifest.

They include

Cows
Goats
Rams

Etc etc...

Thank you grin

Re: Pictures Of Enugu Air's Aeroplanes by esnbrutality: 11:24pm On Jul 07, 2025
You dey mind Dem...

Isn't it a shame that with all the IGR propaganda NO State in the SW dares operate airlines? Instead...they complain that 'road transporters' hike fares every Christmas for IGBOs , as if any IGBO man begged them for money.

Instead they wait for free TRAINs to take them to their abandoned and derelict towns that habour peasants and lowlifes that keep shouting 'ON YOUR MANDATE' senselessly.

These are the indices that actually showcase the fact that the SE has a large contingent of people that are more economically vibrant than the rest.

We dey try extra hard to live the life we want.

Igbo amaka grin

Sanwo-Olu come and explain yourself why Lagos does not have an airline. Actually the railway infrastructure is far better. It's only another party that can reveal the true amount of money Lagos makes. No other South West states can do this as much as I know. Don't get me wrong those planes are on lease nothing wrong with that.
