no sensible northerner will vote for Abubakar atiku, there are much much better qualified candidates from the north than this desperate man, the northern elite will never allow him become president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

It is a lie!
Atiku has more popularity and will garner more votes in the north than any other Northern politician. That is a fact!
If Obi agrees to be Atiku's vice presidential candidate in 2027, bye bye to Tinubu!
Tinubu has been a disaster, anyway.

How long will you keyboard warriors and echo chamber dwellers keep believing that politics is just 2+2? Atiku and Obi contesting together won’t magically change the game — voters won’t respond the same way. But as usual, anything to give political novices a temporary high of imaginary victory is welcomed. Reality will slap them hard in 2027, and they'll cry premium tears once again.

Lol🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

This not a game bro, it's a science, Political Science.

With El-rufai, Ganduje and now Shettima the core north has a sentiment that PBAT is a "Transactional" Politician and the trust deficit is being magnified by elements in the core Muslim North.

They gave him 51% of his vote in the last election.

That's where the battle is not Peter Obi !
You don't know president Tinubu, honestly. President Tinubu is a progressive person, before the election you will see how the Northerners would fall in line.

We Nigerians don't really know how powerful president Tinubu was/is politically not just in Nigeria but some other African countries.

I still remember Yahaya Jammeh and Adaka Boro in Gambia, if you have a clue about the role president Tinubu played in that country political game, you won't be talking like this.

Faye of Senegal, his release was influenced mostly by Prof Lumumba, I must give credit, but you see the necessary moves to win the incumbent, president Tinubu also played some part.

You have no idea who you are dealing with

The country must have to go through this period if we must make any meaningful progress maybe you need to read about what other great countries you hear of today went through to get to where they are, Nigerians don't want to pay the price for success, everyone want to blow without lifting a finger, dream world I guess, Tinubu is your President till 2031, that is the only sure bet for the CORE north to return back to power and they will stick to the plan. You see all these young governors from the north will never allow any new arrangement to jeopardize their chances in 2031 they are all in their first terms mind you.

Over confidence is what will make most of these online Apc supporters want to commit suicide in 2027 with them thinking Tinubu is god …e go shock them that people is more powerful and when the betrayals start to come on they will eventually know that what goes around comes around

What do you think?
You may be correct. I have been wondering why some APC folks have been pushing the theory of Kwankwaso becoming the Vice President on the next presidential election contest for APC.

Maybe they felt the need to win Kwankwaso's votes and add to Tinubu's votes. Maybe Kwankwaso decided to use that leverage to negotiate for VP if he must join APC.

I have always believed that Kwankwaso Is only popular and attractive to voters in Kano. Outside Kano, he probably can deliver significant votes. However, that is my thinking.

Thoughtful and insightful opinion from you brother.

Notes. We will keep watching the event as it unfolds.

Next Elections were not being calculated based on last results go and check previous results.

Every new elections cycle comes with different pattern and strategy. The truth is that Nigerians now vote base on the reality on ground. The next election will not be based on Muslim Muslim or Christian churches against some people, it will be purely on the people past records and ability to take strong decisions to move Nigeria forward. Ability to solve problems and not to run away. Nigerians knows who have the audacity and capacity to brake any barriers without shaking.

If the coalition presents anybody we will vote the person as simple as that. Reelecting anyone in power is the reason why they don't value the citizens they believe it's their power or right. And that is the reason they keep imposing their stooges after their tenure.

north is against tinubu indeed, when dey have all eyes 👀 everyone realigning themselves for 2031.

You go & ask INEC how dey intend to rig the general election for the president, peeps that reason like yourself is why the minority elite, will never allow the masses poor, to make decisions for them.

Make atiku dey deceive emself over his personal ambition to be president of the republic, his very good friend bola Tinubu is already on the throne.

Please mention just 2 northern governors that have criticized tinubu?
Oga forget talk, tell your personal Lord and savior bring Nigeria to how he met it, then we will begin from there to see if we'll vote him at. Stop relying on rigging and the power the president wields. All those powers of his are made possible if the election is riggable and if the people haven't meant him. Now from the look of things the people are not happy with him, and the INEC has no option than to comply with the people, whoever is the INEC chairman doesn't matter. You can't destroy everything with no sympathy and expect a smooth sale. Tinubu is not Jonathan because the people haven't reacted.
The day I fear this man as heartless is the day he went ahead to implement the electricity tariffs after numerous cries from every angle of the nation

they say strike the iron, whilst the iron is hot, he won Lagos State yet he didn’t become president, Tinubu also lost Osun state, yet Obi did not become president?

Like Nyesom Wike rightfully said Gringory Obi’s time has passed.
grin Am just laughing..what the commenter said was put Tinubu and Obi today in a free and fair election devoid of any kind of manipulation who do you think will WIN..given the fact tinubu is even an incumbent.

Hmmm I really not a fan of politics but when I saw that a whole Jagbajan of lagos lost in lagos to an ibo man from the east I breath deeply and started to question his popularity and influence. I told myself tinubu lost in lagos a man regarded as lagos city boy, I just told myself that this man have been getting so much credit he doesn't deserve...i told myself he has been bullying his way all this while.

To add insult to injury Jagbajan lost in his home town of Osun state. I think what most you supporters of tinubu is backing on come 2027 is for him to bullying his way through, deep down you know am saying the truth.

For me I think all things been equal in a free and fair election devoid of electoral rancour and monitored by international observers..Peter Obi will defeat tinubu even before 2pm of that day.

Wike is just Jealous and bitter of the level of love and popularity obi possess ...I don't take him serious same with Reno guy.

You need to be powerful politically before winning any major election. That should be logical. Which of the politicians forming coalition have a political party they have built whether by themselves or with others?

How many people have they built politically as those will be instrumental to your own progress?

Talking about having links, connection in Nigeria, which of the people in the coalition get close to president Tinubu.

How will you see even when the truth is right in your face up there, plus imagine Tinubu getting just 37% vote out of 100% of Nigerians that vote when he haven't released his Shege banza promax on Nigerians...The kind beating he received in Lagos in 2023 election will be a child's play to the beating he will get in 2027.

I am so so happy emi lokan have been giving a chance to prove that indeed he got A1 in Politics but F9 in governance...the proof is so glaring even to the blind now.

This was the same paper tiger criticizing previous governments on the pages of newspapers on daily basis...I am sure he never dreamt of performing far worse than his predecessors.
