ATIKU/OBI 2027..A MASTER STROKE by Mikeman123(op):
There is no gain saying the fact that the newly formed coalition by opposition politicians in Nigeria has received widespread acceptance across the country during its nascent period.

However, it is necessary that leaders and members of the coalition bloc should leverage on this political capital to produce formidable candidates for both presidential and vice presidential positions.
So far , three gladiators are believed to be jostling for the apex position of president under the platform of the ADC.They include :
Peter Obi
Atiku Abubakar
Rotimi Amaechi.
A cursory look at the outcome of the 2023 election shows that Atiku and Obi got 6 + million votes respectively.Incumbent president Tinubu got 8+ million votes.
Numbers do not lie .A joint ticket of Atiku/Obi will do the magic for the coalition.
I also believe that Peter Obi can do it if he pairs with a political heavyweight from the north.
But realistically, Atiku/Obi is what the coalition needs to cruise to power come 2023

Never happening.
Atiku and Obi are never going to work together for anything politics.
Atiku refused zoning the presidency to the south in the last election. That is why Peter obi ran against him in Labour party.

Peter obi is promising one tenure because he knows he can not be vice to atiku after sabotaging him in the last election in bid to return power to the south after 8years of north rule.

Snake rufai is gradually subduing Obi with humility hoping to take over from him should Obi gain the support of the coalition and win the 2027 polls and honour his one tenure plea.

In the end, It would be found out that obi is not a member of the ADC and so is El rufai. They needed it to create a discourse.

It has already happened before and it failed against Buhari.

That was when PDP was still worth something.

Tinubu is not Buhari! Buhari has 12m organic voters that would follow him to the ends of the earth and back, how many organic voters does Tinubu have even in his Southwest? Northerners gave him 5.6m out of his total 8.3m votes in 2023. Atiku/Obi pulled 11m votes against Buhari. Do the maths!

Stop spreading lies, falsehood, and propaganda.
Atiku never refused zoning; rather, he said that if the party zoned it to the South, he would not participate. Fortunately, the PDP threw it open.

@danvon
That the ticket failed before doesn't mean it will fail again.
The dynamics have changed.

Majority of the citizenry are not comfortable with the way Tinubu's government is steering the ship of state and will vote massively for a viable alternative.

Besides, Atiku/Obi ticket will guarantee bloc votes in the north, south south and South East while Obi/El rufai or any other candidate will guarantee south East, South South and north central. It may not make inroads into the far north.Though I stand to be corrected

All these PDP mikanolite boys should rest Kwanu Ahn -Ahn undecided

There is no way in hell that obidients will vote for Atiku over obi . . . ABSOLUTELY NO WAY and there's no how you can coerce or gaslighting them to do so angry

Is that why atiku ran away from PDP? So he wants to use us and Peter Obi AGAIN? shocked and you feel it will work?

Hehehe 😏 these people are playing

Well, that assumes that we believe the corrupt and dishonest INEC figures. Peter Obi performed much better than his allocated figures suggest. Atiku came second, while Ahmed Tinubu came last.

Peter Obi as the concensus presidential candidate of the coalition is non-negotiable!

Its still the turn of the South

Atiku should stop hiding behind a finger. He is a leader in the coalition, he can influence the zoning.

El Rufai influence APC zoning to the South, thats what gave Tinubu the ticket

Saying one thing and doing another thing. PDP stakeholders opposed Ayu as chairman but Atiku influenced his stay as PDP chairman that handed Atiku the ticket. The hand writing was everywhere.

The sacrifice he is talking about is for obidients to accept Elrufai as running mate. He knows no reasonable person that has travelled and heard about Elrufai will support him afterwards.

That's the direction.

Nigeria’s two main opposition leaders, former presidential candidate of the PDP in 2023 general election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and his Labour Party’s (LP) counterpart, Mr. Peter Obi, have identified with the new political party.
