Greetings from the USA. I was raised in a Roman Catholic family due the slavery of my ancestors. I would like to start learning about Vodun cults in Nigeria. Could you please suggest that best areas to find traditional Vodun priests and priestess? My dream is to become a religious servant to Vodun temple/fetish shrine. I believe that the old religious practices of ritual servitude/Osu system have been officially outlawed. I know that it will be very hard to find a traditional Vodun cult that would ritualisticly delicate me to a detiy. Please take my request seriously. I want to be dedicated to a Vodun deity in Nigeria and become a religious servant to a Vodun community. I will move to Nigeria to willingly enter into ritual servitude to a Vodun priestess.

Go to southwestern Nigeria like Badagry or Ouidah (just across the border in Benin) that's where Vodun traditions still thrive

Thank you for the information. I will go to Ouidah Benin first then Badagry Nigeria where Vodun traditions still are active. I just want to surrender myself to serving a Vodun deity. I will willingly enter into ritual servitude according to the Vodun cult traditions. I have been a slave to the so called America dream. I would rather be a religious slave to the Vodun cult traditions.
