The young boy is no longer interested in studying medicine hence he offered to sit for jamb and made a choice of mechanical engineering, why is that a problem?

The young man shouldn't be denied admission pls. That UNN previously expelled him from medicine and surgery as a result of poor performance, how did that disqualify him from starting afresh with another jamb, and how did it amount to academic fraud? So after UNN expelled him, he should have gone home without making the attempt to start afresh?

As for the UNN VC, you expelled your student as a result of poor performance, and also went further to discredit him when contacted by Jamb, thereby jeopardizing his chances of getting fresh admission. Are you not a destiny k!ller?

If the boy is from a rich family, I'm sure they suppose don fly him abroad before now to pursue his dream, since he is academically sound

Do you understand the meaning the of expelled? Is poor academic performance a crime? Do you know the situation that caused the lapses while in med school?

Why the "but"? Was he the best student in the JAMB exam or not? Do you have proof or evidence of his malpractice in the JAMB exam? Why investigating the young man and quoting the UNN VC without proof? Your jurisdiction is JAMB and not to investigate the boy's performance in life. If you suspect him of malpractice then investigate and prove it within the confines of your jurisdiction otherwise STFU and give the young man the accolades that he deserves. These little minded tribalists are just impossible.

I smell a rat... This type of Jamb score is used solely for political propaganda... Allow Okeke Christian and the other names on the list to retake the JAMB under strict supervision, and have the computer immediately mark their scores. And see who truly gets that top score without cheating....

This situation needs to be thoroughly investigated because something is clearly wrong somewhere. It makes no sense to punish a bright student who has demonstrated his academic capability twice. The authorities should reconsider their decision and address the root of the problem instead of jeopardizing his future.

Perhaps, biological sciences isn't his forte. Now he is planning to study towards his strength.

That may be where his calling was ab initio.

Okeke reminds me of a colleague in medical school . A brilliant chap who became depressed and dropped out at some point.
He went to another school to do engineering.
Parents should not force their kids to do medicine .

The boy has showed real determination and tenacity to relaunch himself after the initial set back.
That is all that matters .
