Did the country or democracy begin in 2011? Why not provide everything from 1999 for clarity? ![]() |

ratcock:Are you seeing the external debt sha? Even with the debt, peter obi has nothing to point at in Anambra state. Peter 0bi will never become the president of Nigeria |
| Re: Anambra State: External And Domestic Debt Profile 2011 - 2022 by Mabuggi88: 4:26pm On Jul 08, 2025 |
Commentor:They started from there because people like you said Obiano and Soludo are better managers of economy |
| Re: Anambra State: External And Domestic Debt Profile 2011 - 2022 by Mabuggi88: 4:29pm On Jul 08, 2025 |
Ikaeniyan0:That means you may not leave to see him became the president. I wish you long life though so that you will use mouth to retract all your bad words against Peter Obi. You will definitely live to that. Peter Obi is already president |
| Re: Anambra State: External And Domestic Debt Profile 2011 - 2022 by Ikaeniyan0: 4:31pm On Jul 08, 2025 |
Mabuggi88:Yes, he's the president of Twitter Nigeria. Peter 0bi will never become the president of Nigeria |

Fmr governor,Obiano, was right when he said and I quote, I inherited debt of 172bn from peter obi. |

@PeterObi is better than @officialABAT both as a governor and a businessman. If Peter Obi had the revenue and FG infrastructure of Lagos, he would have truly turned Anambara more than Tinubu left Lagos........https://twitter.com/BwalaDaniel/status/1584803684063453190?t=zrQA6htLm89BpTK0UByAuA&s=19 The difference is very clear. You don't band lies and propaganda because it is sweet to do. Facts are undisputable while lies remains lies. |

garykoeman:Where is the accumulated debts amounting to the figures you are quoting while he was governor abi now the herded mindset the worry you? |

Give it to H.E Peter Obi when comes anything pertaining finance. The man didn't head a bank for years for nothing unlike that alleged drg kingpin that claims he is an account but has nothing to show for it.....

The Gbajue Obi was busy increasing the foreign debts by more than double |

Again, I hate to be the guy, but compare it to oil prices for each year |

APC should "go and verify" after then, they should publish Chicago fraudster's debt profile when he was in charge of lagos |
| Re: Anambra State: External And Domestic Debt Profile 2011 - 2022 by Macphenson: 5:19pm On Jul 08, 2025 |
Why are they singling out Anambra State only for this analysis. Why not compare Anambra and Lagos state let us check something. |
| Re: Anambra State: External And Domestic Debt Profile 2011 - 2022 by Kukutente23: 5:20pm On Jul 08, 2025 |
From this statistics, it seems Obi preferred taking foreign loans than domestic loans. However, the loans taken are still largely insignificant compared to other states especially the state ostensibly built by the master strategist |
| Re: Anambra State: External And Domestic Debt Profile 2011 - 2022 by Kukutente23: 5:22pm On Jul 08, 2025 |
Ikaeniyan0:The foreign debt is largely insignificant. $6m in 6 years is still a good job however you look at it The looter of Lagos took over 1000% loans |

ratcock: AK481:I agree with you guys 100% Okwute is just like the proverbial servant who buried the single talent his master gave him. He is unproductive and lacks a development mindset but he knows how to save. I give him that kudos. |
| Re: Anambra State: External And Domestic Debt Profile 2011 - 2022 by AK481(m): 5:23pm On Jul 08, 2025 |
Give it to Peter obi for prudence management of resources |
| Re: Anambra State: External And Domestic Debt Profile 2011 - 2022 by muhammaduyusufu: 5:29pm On Jul 08, 2025 |
ratcock:But he improvised the people of Anambra that a lot of them fled the state to survive elsewhere.

Kukutente23:Selective Amnesia. What about from 2012-2014 the 21m USD increase at the time the oil prices were almost at an all time high. The time when states agreed to share all the Excess Crude Account instead of save for the future, yet PO doubled the state's external debt in that period with nothing to show for it. |
| Re: Anambra State: External And Domestic Debt Profile 2011 - 2022 by RodgersAkpafu: 5:33pm On Jul 08, 2025 |
nairalanda1:A better comparison will have been put it side by side with other states |
| Re: Anambra State: External And Domestic Debt Profile 2011 - 2022 by SmartPolician: 5:38pm On Jul 08, 2025 |
Just imagine the debt profile Peter Obi left and where Obiano took the state. It has now become clear why Peter Obi is a free man while Obiano is running away from EFCC case. |
| Re: Anambra State: External And Domestic Debt Profile 2011 - 2022 by 004gist: 5:39pm On Jul 08, 2025 |
Ikaeniyan0:Dont have sleepless night. The debt profile as at then its just in millions not even up to a billion dollars For example : domestic debt fell by half. External debt grew by 20 million dollars |
| Re: Anambra State: External And Domestic Debt Profile 2011 - 2022 by zero8zero(m): 5:40pm On Jul 08, 2025 |
Mabuggi88: AK481: Seefinish: Toscarel: Racoon:Lol, we thought Obi didn't leave debt for his successor, he only saved. How come we have these debt figures at the end of his tenure?. You can't package a fraud forever ![]() |
| Re: Anambra State: External And Domestic Debt Profile 2011 - 2022 by Kukutente23: 5:44pm On Jul 08, 2025 |
Baselm:No you're wrong. Excess crude account was shared in 2011-2012. In 2012-2014, it is hard to point at PO since he left office in early 2014. The debt could have been taken by his successor |
| Re: Anambra State: External And Domestic Debt Profile 2011 - 2022 by 004gist: 5:45pm On Jul 08, 2025 |
zero8zero:He was prudent to the core. Check the debt its only in 20 million dollars that's all |
