Olivier Giroud was on the pitch of play for 90mins and never had a single contact with the ball been played .

Can you tell us the exact match?

I need to do some personal investigation. No matter how bad you're as a footballer you can't be in the field for 90min and not touch the ball.

🇳🇬 Nigeria once beat a team so badly… they changed the rules of football.

Fact: In 1993, Nigeria's Under-17 team was so dominant in youth tournaments that FIFA changed age verification rules because of them.

Why? Because the Golden Eaglets (U-17 team) won the FIFA U-17 World Cup three times (1993, 2007, and 2013) and regularly reached the finals. Their physicality and maturity made other teams suspicious.

This led FIFA to introduce MRI bone scans to verify players' ages — a system literally called "The Nigeria Rule" by some fans and journalists.
So yeah, Nigeria was so good at youth football, FIFA had to bring in medical technology to keep it fair. Sounds fake, but 100% true!

Undoubtedly, football is the most popular sport around the world.
From the thrills of the FIFA World Tournaments to the engagements generated by the Football Leagues, the round-leather game is second to none.

However, a lot of facts and statistics have been generated from analyzing and dissecting the game.

Some facts are listed below.

Since the inception of the modernized English Premier League in 1992, no English Manager has won the league.

Enzo Fernandez of Argentina won the World Cup before playing a single World Cup Qualifier game

Bobby Zamora and Obafemi Martins are the only players to score penalties with both feet in the history of the Premier League.

Lionel Messi scored 91 goals in a natural year and assisted 24 times.

Kevin Debruyne has won the PFA Player of the twice but he has never won the Player of the Month.

🥅 An entire national football team disappeared... and no one knew where they went for days.

Fact: In 2002, the entire Zambian national football team (not the infamous 1993 crash, but a youth team this time) disappeared during a tournament in Europe, and it turned out they had all defected to seek asylum.

---
⚽ Barotseland had a national football team before Zambia existed.

Fact: Before Zambia was even formed as a nation (in 1964), the Kingdom of Barotseland — now a part of western Zambia — had its own national football team that played international matches in the early 20th century.

It even played against other British colonial teams and was recognized regionally.

Sounds wild, but colonial Africa had these kinds of quasi-national sports teams long before official independence movements were complete.

Didier Drogba messed (gassed or fouled the air) in a match against Arsenal. The smell was so much around the pitch that referee Howard Webb had to stop the match for 10 minutes until the smell cleared.

CR7 and Ibrahimovic are the only players to have score in all minutes of a football match 1-90.
CR7 and Gianluigi Buffon are the only players to have played with father and son for the same football team.
CR7 played with Sergio Conceicao for Portugal national team back in 2004 and is now playing with his son Francesco Conceicao.
Buffon played with Enrico Chiesa both for Juventus and the Italian National team and played with Francesco Chiesa of Liverpool when he was at Juventus. The funniest part was Buffon attended the naming ceremony of the younger Chiesa and even carried him in his hands.
.
Eidur Gudjohnson former player of Chelsea and Barcelona who's a Finland international was the first player to play with his father for a national team. Though the history wasn't complete cus he was substituted for his father and they never get to play together on the same field. That was the last match for his father

Mourinho remains the only manager to win Champions League, Europa League and Conference league

Mourinho once won EPL manger of the season without winning the manager of the month once.

Philip Lamn played as a right back, Centre defender, left back and Defensive midfielder in four different UEFA Champions League Finals

Philp Lamn has never collected a red card

Ryan Giggs can donate his EPL medals to all Arsenal first team players and still have 2 more medals left.

The last time Arsenal won a league title, Zidane was a player and afterwards he retired as a player, then became a manager and won 3 Champions League back to back then retired as a manager and came back from retirement again to manage Real Madrid for a season before he retired again. Now it's been over 6 years since he retired and yet Arsenal hasn't won the league title.
