Nothing concern banks with loan sharks.....na their fellow loan apps go flag you if you don't repay...

Banks don't even charge as much as they do....
You may be right but I disagree. You won't know now until Debt search is done on your name.

Nothing hilarious here. If you are owing a financial institution, try and clear your debt to keep the system running. Else where, such financial institutions provide capital support for small businesses to strive. They need to be encouraged not to be frustrated

They operate on a different frequency...

If you like owe loan sharks till tomorrow...

Bank will only give out loans based on your bank account transactions with them...if you dey average....200k per month...they can loan out 500k to collect 600+ .... especially a salary based loan...since they guaranteed that you can pay back monthly...

Meanwhile, banks now have the right to tear into your account with other banks if you owe and refuse to pay for 2 years...

They do that through GSI - GLOBAL STANDARD INSTRUCTION......

Nowhere wey you wan hide from bank again....

Loan sharks are not included...if you owe loan sharks...na dem dem no go give money again....most of them no dey register sef.....

Even you can start a loan sharks business if you have like 500k....you operate unlicensed...you will only have to deal with salary earners

I don't know how their ads are being approved for public consumption, they will advertise to take loan of 100k and pay 100,500 back but once you take the loan, they will ask you to pay 160k back and you will be wondering how 100,500 turned to 160k.
Lol you are very funny I swear, I think that their 101,500 or there about is just their interest per day then when you multiply the 1,500 by the number of days you will be with the money it will now come out that 160k

I think those shark loans are not design for people that will pay back or businesses. How can you be charging people almost 30% interest on a loan per week or month. That is criminality of the highest order. If they behave like normal financial institutions that base percentage of their loans per annum and interest rates on reducing balance, many people will be glad to pay back.

This shows the level of poor educational systems coupled with frustation in the land , the loan staff lacks decorum and simple job ethics and calling funny customers a mad person when she knows she has no control than good approach and to persuade the customer

I remember when my friend was convincing me to borrow money online and I said nope...

Because I hate it when I'm receiving unnecessary calls and once those people start calling you they can call with multiple different numbers from Monday - Friday 😀
They don't give up at all 🤣

Yorubastardz:
Loan app should give out more loans this period. Nothing is wrong with loans.

In USA the cars clothes and homes are loans
That is one thing they won't tell you about abroad. Americans live and breathe on loans

Why not Nigerians??
No be only America o. Even for Europe if you remove loans, overdrafts and credit card spending come cancel social security payments, the level of poverty in Europe and America go pass Nigeria own as their societies don't allow its citizens to hustle for their daily bread due to too many restrictive laws.

For example in Nigeria, you can go to the market, buy some meat, fish, rice and beans, cook them and start selling to your neighborhood immediately from just a table and cooler placed in front of your house thus making your daily cash to survive. In Europe and America you will be arrested by the authorities if you do such.

I suppose the lack of an accurate database of verifiable citizens address history is a hindrance to mass rollout of "serious" loans to people in Naija although bankers get house building loans from their employers with repayments deducted from their monthly salaries.

Repay your loans and get peace of mind.
It's not in all financial transactions you must bring in your Yahoo instinct.
I don't want to believe that every Nigerian is a potential criminal like I hear in some quarters.

I'm not encouraging people owing them, but the elsewhere you're talking about, they don't have ridiculous interests rates, and they don't deceive people with their ads claiming its 3% a month, while its actually between 30-45% interest rate in a month. Their interest rates are ridiculously high,

I disagree. Every where in the world you'll get folks who easily collect loans but find it difficult to pay back. But if the system is such that when you borrow you must pay back then no one will dodge repayment. The problem with Nigeria is that the system is broken. Both lenders and borrowers are not adequately protected.

This is one of the reasons why credit card system will never work in Nigeria

Those loan apps are just criminals taking advantage of people's vulnerability to swindle Nigerians.
That is why you need not pay. It's called breech of agreement

oga, tell that your financial institutions to be sincere from the onset and stop tricking people into traps.

They tell all manner of lies and sweet things to lure unsuspecting Nigerians into their web

All these yeye can only happen in Nigeria.

Loan shark is not a financial institution

CBN is still watching OKash, Flexictedit, Amend and all the Chinese men loitering Nigeria with loan sharking as lending institution.

It is quite unfortunate that the Nigerian system is broken. What these loan sharks advertised is quite different from what they offer. The advert is misleading and the government is not doing anything about it

The Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria is probably at fault here. That body is obviously not doing its job
