That's the nature of the business around the world. Prices are never fixed. I bought regular unleaded $2.77 per gallon a week ago, and now today it's $3.00. Prices are often dictated by global oil prices and other factors.

Good move by Dangote through implementation of fuel price reduction. We need Nigerian government to rejuvenate the old refineries to enable competitive pricing.

I thought that when Tinubu wickedly hiked it and the price went up to almost 1,500 per liter with its attendant increase in transportation costs and the prices of goods and services, you guys said it was the cheapest in the entire world and that fuel isn’t supposed to be cheap.

You forgot Dangote is getting his crude in Nigeria and in Naira, so the response shouldn't have been as swift as it was, otherwise the refinery has got little or nothing to change for the common man in Nigeria.
