Thanks..
Atink you plan to use it for 10 years and no other fad will sway your fancy to jump to another one.

As I've said before, our people due far more due diligence in buying a phone that they'll grow tired of in 2 years than they do to pick a spouse that they'll be stuck with for a lifetime.

See my black dots bought 2021 for sale. It's presently in use as a hotspot as I cycle all my phones that people want me to throw away because of petty blemishes reflected in reduced price. I'm pretty sure many have bought flashy phones since after this that have already developed screen problem or died anyhow.

I've wasted millions on this useless business of phone (and tablet/laptop) selling because buyers here are really crazy on phone matter. Thank God it is not my main business

unless the phone will not hit ground or hit something. They all spread eventually. Buying such phones depend on the price the seller is giving it out for.

I see your point though. I've never used a phone with black dot before, that's why i asked for advice. I play games alot.... which means i'll pressing the screen a lot. Phones are really expensive right now-
I don't think anyone would want to buy one inwhich they will live in constant fear of changing screen.
Samsung Screens are expensive.

Anyways, I was luck enough to see one in perfect condition, and he was closer to me. I bought it this morning. That's what am using to type sef.
And I'm enjoying the device.

I hope it lasts long for me. Fingers crossed.

Good for you. Nice response. The gist of my message if you understand that part is that, lets say out of 50 people like you, a number of them would have a screen they can't use before that "faulty" one ever would fail. Apart from accidents, faults still develop from nowhere. We don't know who out of those 50 would be. Phone ownership is an emotional and status decision -- not a logical one and that's why I'm divesting.

Anyways, enjoy your device until the next fad comes, or…

It's 95k last price. I said they sell it over 150k on Jiji. If you have Note 10 Plus for 150k, bring am make I buy because I have one too whose screen has gone blank. Was my personal media phone, working well. I'm now using S20 Plus 5g which is wifi only that una go want me to give out for next to nothing.

This S9 Plus with ink spots is 95k last. In fact it is presently in use as my hotspot.

S9 ordinary also dey o, with one ink spot too

I bought this phone you're talking about for around 80 or 85 dollars in 2022. How much is that? I will NEVER do phone business in this Nigeria again. Up till today I still check the market in the US and a clean one is almost $100. I don't know what connection the people who sell these things to you ppl in Nigeria have. It is a catastrophe of a business to me. Devalues really fast, compared to cameras and lenses that are my main business

Lol I have observed you sell phones with blemishes. Your phones are either with cracked screen or with black spots. Most people tend to entirely avoid Samsung phones with screen defects. For you to sell fast, you have to sell at a really low price. Personally, I wouldn't buy that your S9 plus with cracked screen and two large black spots for 95k. I will advice you to always ship in few phones in good shape than plenty phones with defects

Yea oooo, I've learnt my millions of naira lesson. In my main biz I do buy things that do the job but not perfect in appearance and I thought I could transfer that to phones. Recall that when I bought them they were far more expensive and that's why I say depreciation in phone market is crazy. I do have the ones without issues too but some may be SIM locked. I have sold; I sold Google Pixel 3a XL two weeks ago, after almost 2 years on the market, without issues. I sold Oneplus 7T McLaren last year with cracks and screen burn. But in general, no I don't want to be in this business. Problem is I buy maybe 30 phones and they accumulate at my brother's place before sending them after maybe 8 ot 9 months or even longer. I don't get to learn the lessons fast enough to change course. Tablets and laptops even worse as I've only ever sold one single item 17k (2022 naira o) out of maybe 2 or more million. That is the total disaster. At least I've made 30% of my cost price from phones. Anyways, I appreciate; thanks

This was a really expensive lesson to learn. I pray you recoup your losses from your main business. Like you observed, laptop business is even worst compared to phone business. One can go months without selling even one. I wish you all the best in your future endeavours boss
