All these are slap on Nigeria government face. Make our country a better place. These revenue Tinubu generate dwindle d economy. It is supposed to be pushed back into d economy in ways all Nigerians will benefit eg infrastructure, health, security, loans, grants, SIP, mortgages, housing, subsidies on some food, education and medicine, agriculture etc But they are looted. You don't overtax an economy and emback on white elephant projects. New universities, new road, new FMCs ,new Commissions, new states etc when d existing ones are not catered for. |

In a short form, this policy was enacted because Nigeria is currently romancing the BRIC nations. Period. |

Trust the Democrats to reverse this, they will even Visa in their next campaign to gather more vote. Trump is only envying Nigeria's relationship with BRICS. |

Unless something drastic happens, I predict that individuals with Nigerian passport will be unable to visit many countries in about 10 years. Unfortunately, the folks responsible for the national decline own second passports |

Goodlady:Going on foreign trips has nothing to do with " if Nigeria is better" If you stay in your little box you'll never experience what the outside world has to offer. |

Let's wait and see if Nigeria will qualify for the world cup, we will avoid US and play only in Mexico and Canada. Hope FIFA is taking note? It's America that will be affected by this strict visa policy and immigration they are doing now under Trump but me I can't blame them, it's their country and they can do as they like. After the midterm, maybe they will relax a bit but for now, America no de play with anybody from all over the world. Trump has made US Customs and Border Protection the freehand to do as they wish so what you see is what you get. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtTgBv0zMLs Even US Citizen de hear am https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qN1TFuBJF4&pp=0gcJCfwAo7VqN5tD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6liT9pXwYE |

Nigeria and its media are being mischievous. It is not about this new e-visa online portal, but it is about the visa itself. Nigeria has not at anytime giving Americans multiple visas. It has always been 3 months with a single entry. So, why are they trying to be mischievous? If you have American friends like me who visit Nigeria often, you will know. They always complain. Just like how marrying a Nigerian woman does not give the husband a Nigerian passport, but when a woman gets the Nigerian passport when she marries a Nigerian man. There are so many things we need to get straight . |

Till we shun tribalism n regard every Nigerian as one....we may still be running to even Ghana n Togo tomorrow where we will b placed on visa ban.....time to look inwards now.....first thing first .....stop Fulani bandits.....stop d romance of innocent lives with that of cow lovers.....protect our boarders....then try uniting Nigerians with each other....let us all see each other as one....remove religion from d constitution....no separate laws for those in rivers and kaduna.....till then, I think we r not ready as a country |

All these becos this present crop of Nigerian romanticise the idea of Japa..if we compare Nigerian or the early 50 to 70s and Nigerians of today Nigerian of the past were very proud of their countries...no matter wat they achieved abroad they always returned in their prime to set up what they av seen in other climes in their fathers land...ever wondered why some countries in Asia are rapidly developing. Cos they know there is no place like home..no matter wat they achieve money wise..skill wise they move back home to add their quota..bit wat do we have...the present crop give the money to developers to build overpriced properties no nation building |

Islie:Truth is, the principles of reciprocity, equity, and mutual respect that should guide bilateral engagements between friendly nations do not apply in relationships between two unequal parties that U.S. and Nigeria are. We are wiser acknowledging that we need help from U.S. and ensure as much as possible that we remain in her good books. |

Sincerely speaking, U can't be giving 3 months single entry visas to US citizens to visit your country and expect them to reciprocate with 5 years multiple entry visas to visit their own country. Na so E dey work? |
