Dunga, Leonardo, Cafu and Romario with exception of ze Roberto that was brought in for France 98 were all in Alberto pereira us 94 World Cup winning team and Brazil FA demanded the sports ministry to build a new team cos many of those guys that won USA 94 like dunga , rai , marcio santos , Romario etc were already within their 30s . The task fell on Mario zagallo who built a young team of Ronaldo da lima, rivaldo, Roberto Carlos, flavio concecia, amaral etc around few oldies like Bebeto, Santos Marcio etc .
