I see some of the comments here, and I just shake my head. The truth is, we’ve been so used to bad and deceitful politicians that when someone genuinely good comes along, it’s hard for us to believe it.

I’m not a fan of any politician, but when it comes to Peter Obi, believe me when I say this—what you see is his true nature. He lived this way when he was the Governor of Anambra State. This isn’t about chasing cheap popularity or trying to win votes. Simplicity is just who he is.

That said, Peter Obi is not the type who will build skyscrapers or transform a city into a modern metropolis. This is one area where I personally feel he could have done better. I believe he had the money then to develop the state capital, just like the current Governor is doing now. But instead, he chose to focus on opening up rural communities, building roads in villages, and supporting schools and hospitals.
