I’m genuinely relieved Tinubu didn’t show up.

That image?

A masterclass in narcissism wrapped in national disgrace. It wasn’t diplomacy ,it was performative humiliation, on full display for the world to see.

Body guards or slaves.

Something is wrong with the arrangements

Well, it's not like we are expecting anything less. US is a big brother to all African countries. This is a picture taken in the Oval office.

It is always a US President seated at the Resolute desk in any formal setting and it's not like we expect to see anyone else seated there; or 5 additional chairs arranged around it. Moreover, he is the host at the meeting.

Much ado about nothing.

its always been the way of the world. Either you respect the leading power and know your place or u go chop humble pie..

Re: Caption This Photo Of Trump And Five African Presidents by kingthreat(m): 4:59am On Jul 11, 2025
Trump has perfected the art of indirectly inferiorizing those he feels he is superior to.
Imagine praising the president of Liberia for speaking good English. That's a subtle insult. Liberia is an English-speaking country that has been independent since the 19th century for goodness sakes.
The young Senegalese president seems quite intelligent. He intentionally stood distant abit knowing what the picture will be indirectly portraying.

Grand display of Narcissism and Humiliation.
Well I don't think anyone can describe that show of shame called picture better than you do. Trump is the worst sitting president I have seen so far, this is taking Africa back to the slavery period and sincerely anyone that sees it otherwise is either not thinking right or a yes boss personal.

Reality of extreme poverty paupers in the presence of their benefactor.

How do poor people behave in front of rich people in your own village huh

Instead of making noise about how rich people treat us paupers, should we not work hard and smart as a country, continent and race to be strong, rich and well behaved in law abiding societies collectively.

TheBedWench:
The one-drop rule is a social and legal principle of racial classification that was historically prominent in the United States in the 20th century. It asserted that any person with even one ancestor of black ancestry ("one drop" of black blood)[1][2] is considered black (Negro or colored in historical terms).

This concept became codified into the law of some states in the early 20th century. It was associated with the principle of "invisible blackness" that developed after the long history of racial interaction in the South, which had included the hardening of slavery as a racial caste and later segregation. It is an example of hypodescent, the automatic assignment of children of a mixed union between different socioeconomic or ethnic groups to the group with the lower status, regardless of proportion of ancestry in different groups.[3]

The one-drop rule is defunct in law in the United States and was never codified into federal law.

There is level in everything in life. Even Prince Charles did almost same thing when he visited Nigeria. He sat at the front while our first class traditional rulers sat at the rear.
Sanusi sat behind Sultan.

This is quite humiliating.

Its not something any decent President should be subjected to.

Nigeria is definitely not in this class.

If the white people are not working hard to make their countries prosperous, safe, law abiding with basic freedoms, government services and public utilities, then how would they claim superiority over us blacks?

If they are not superior then why are we praying and fasting for voluntary slavery japa to make their oyinbo countries even better?

The migrant crisis in Libya and the Nigeria experience

The drive for survival and for greener pastures has continued to force millions of West African young men and women to gamble with death in attempts to cross over to Europe and other parts of the world. This quest to escape poverty, hunger, unemployment and insecurity, among other reasons, caused a major segment of Nigeria’s population to seek alternatives for better livelihood prospects for themselves and their families.

Those seeking economic survival see irregular migration as the best alternative, given the difficulty and resources involved in migrating through regular and legitimate routes. In many instances, very few of the original number who set out on these dangerous journeys live to tell their stories. While many regularly drown in the Mediterranean Sea, many also die in the deserts, and others are sold as slaves in a modern slave market.

Most of the victims of this trade are from West Africa. Many of them leave home with expectations of getting to Europe and other destinations perceived to have better economic prospects for them, but they end up in the slave merchant nets in North Africa. The victims are put in camps and sold in open markets in Libya, while the international community watches in silence. The geographical location of Libya renders it a transit route for migrants journeying to Italy and many other parts of Europe.

If you want someone to respect you, create value and continue to be valuable. People respect people who they need all the time. You can't be dependent and still ask for respect.

Whites are not superior, they are simply wiser than the black man. They've mastered the art of domination, dominating other men and environment because of how harsh their own was. Blacks where in a comfortable environment with their own language, culture and educational system which was inferior to the white man because of the absence of adversity or a low level of it in Africa . Adversity spurs creativity & innovation However given the circumstance of most African countries, it's only a matter of time before we usher the new world into a new phase, starting from Nigeria a new age will birth forth, one where the black man will be manifest new technologies, cultures, songs etc. Due to how difficult it is to survive in this continent.
