Man Devastated After Discovering Wife’s Affair With Pastor, Questions Paternity of His Kids

The unnamed man, who shared his story anonymously via Facebook, explained that his wife recently fell gravely ill and had to be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital. With her being the financial manager of the household, he was compelled to unlock her phone using her fingerprint to gain access to their money.

But what he found shook him to his core.

“I somehow ended up going through her WhatsApp. My wife is having an affair with our pastor,” the man wrote.

The pastor in question is not only their spiritual leader, but also their marriage counselor, and someone the man reached out to for prayers when his wife’s condition worsened.

Screenshots and chats allegedly reveal that the affair had been ongoing for over a year, with the couple exchanging explicit photos and having intimate encounters—even in the man’s own bedroom. Perhaps the most disturbing part of his discovery was a message where the pastor questioned the paternity of their last child, asking if the baby might be his.

The man shared:

“This pastor is our marriage counsellor and he knows so much about our marriage… At some stage, he asked my wife if she’s sure our last born is not his. This shows they are not using protection. My wife and I have been married for 6 years and have 3 kids.”

Now, caught between heartbreak and betrayal, the man says he is in emotional turmoil. He admits to feeling conflicted about his wife’s recovery, given the depth of the betrayal.

“At this moment, I really don’t know what to do, but I’m very hurt. I’m not even sure if I want her health to improve.”

The post has since gone viral, sparking outrage online, with many offering words of support, while others condemned the moral failure of a pastor entrusted with spiritual and marital counsel.

when my wife was still in this country, I ensured there was no direct communication between her and any pastor.
