Jamb can update their rules to state that only candidates below the age of 20 and yet to gain admission can be celebrated. That is left to dem to adjust. Until we have that policy, whatever happenened now is inconsequential.

He can't claim to be top scorer in an unfair competition. As a Medical student, he's bound to do better than SS3 students.

Anyway, It's up to the University to accept him.

All available records indicate that he is from Amuwo-Odofin Local Government in Lagos State, where he sat for the 2021 UTME as he then claimed in his details filled with NIMC.

And kudos to JAMB though and for NIMC, it's an open secret that there are folks who have found a way around the system and can now have multiple NIN slips with different information, it's pathetic to say the least. Instead of NIMC to work making their system secure with next to no glitch and allow for speed resolution of modification but no, the unscrupulous agents keep spring up like spring rolls ready to tarnish their image.

You are the one who needs to "pretend" to be logical here. If my son is admitted to study pharmacy and he later decides to change career to law by retaking jamb, is it a crime? Besides, it is not possible to switch from pharmacy to law in 200 level because both have very different o level requirements. The only way would be to retake both Waec (art subjects including lit. In English) and jamb. All this talk about matriculating ony once is nonsense

I personally know many students in my institution who went back to write UTME during their 100 level and secured places into their desired courses.

If identity fabrication is the issue, let's be clear on it. The young man wrote the exam and scored 375, nothing can take that away.

What if his Dad is Igbo and his mum is Yoruba

I actually have an Igbo friend who married a Yoruba woman and obviously all their 4 kids will have an Igbo surname, an Igbo First name from their father and a Yoruba second name from their motjher.

So their kids come from 2 states - one Igbo and the other Yoruba so, technically such kids can claim anyone of the 2 states they want to claim as both are their heritage.

Its just like the late Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu whose wife is Igbo from Imo state. They have a son named Babajide Akeredolu. Now if Babajide Akeredolu (an obviously Yoruba name) claims he is from Imo state, then he is not lying because he is 50/50 from both Ondo and Imo States.

The boi did nothing wrong here. I know alot of people in final year in university still write jamb to change course cos it wasn't actually what they wanted. JAMB again at it. Make the man no come shed cro cro tears for us again fa. 😒😕

He has every right to switch course, whether it makes sense or not. But changing of identity is fraudulent.

JAMB now requires registration via its portal.
If you have matriculated the portal will not let you proceed. End of that discussion . I am not interested in those that you personally know. It is not relevant to me

The only way to proceed on that portal if you have already Matriculated is to misrepresent your identity one way or another by changing your name or some other distortion of identity which is fraudulent because JAMB also adds NIN to the data set.

He will not do JAMB that is not the procedure . If you have a degree you apply for direct entry to start at 200 level or go to a private university

Government universities are HIGHLY SUBSIDIZED . It is a privilege NOT a right. So the idea of taking unlimited subsidized degrees without accountability is moot

Also it is rude to bring in his son. Many people these days are so rude and have no home training
