1. You keep your legal nationality because both US and NG recognize dual nationality
2. You make the Athletic or sport team of your "new" country and get to compete in international and continental events. ( It isn't easy getting into the US track team)
3. You have the opportunity of winning at continental meets and even creating surprises at world meets
4. This means greater exposure to product endorsements
5. Above all, you do something with your life instead of sitting down and wasting away complaining of injustice on social media.

USA sports is very competitive. Ufodiama might have noticed that she might not be selected by USA Athletics bodies for the Olympics, World Championships etc. I love her decision. Smart thinking.

Athletes are lone wolves, they play for self but use countries as pawns to showcase their talents, as it is, the competition in America is very fierce and she will never even be considered over there so she can't make any money as an athlete in America, however if she comes to where there is no talent like naija she will get the chance to feature in global competitions and be picking up 100 thousand dollars upandan per competition. after like 30 competitions she gets 3 million dollars for akant. Did she watch how Favour Ofilli was treated and how she recently apply to switch to Turkey.

Her only hope of ever going to the Olympics is through Nigeria. Just like most of our Olympic basketball team.

Money was not the only issue that made her switch, the athletic federation incompetence that lead to her exclusions from the track events at the Olympics also contributed.
