I always wonder why some parents are controlled freaks, they virtually controlled every freaking aspect of the lives of their children. In the early stage, you nurture them, instruct and train them for the world ahead of them. After that you leave them to the lessons they've learnt from. It's left for them if they listen to you or not. You can only advice when they've become adults, everything has a limit. No wonder that many birthe for selfish reasons.

It is called "Honour Killing". Done mostly in the Middle East and some part of Asia.

Usually done as a way to safe family name from what they consider Scandals and scandalous behaviours.
