I can't celebrate anything above 400 naira per liter. Rationalising anything above that for a country such as ours, with all our advantages in the sector, is practically impossible. That's my opinion. |

Basic123:Basic 123, friend, Don't get it twisted or wrong, am APC apologist and also Tinubu advocate, but strongly elated on the arrival of ADC to the political scene. Two heavy weight deep necked in corruption tendency fighting it out in a royal rumble , is like two deadly evils - who to choose- but their roforofo fight will at least bring succour to the masses in terms of energy security and it is the devil that will manipulate itself to sell a cheaper fuel is what the populace will embrace at the poll. Let the rumble begins. More pressure on the neck of the APCs. |

When Electric Vehicles eventually become mainline in Nigeria, I wonder what these people will do with their oil . . . |

I've noticed this a long time ago, they try to use reverse psychology to change people's mindset about things that are obviously morally wrong. As for the petrol price reduction, these APC people have been unsettled since the emergence of the coalition. They've been trying to do a lot, they're definitely feeling the heat onome25: |

It was subsidized because it was being imported, any good president who is not occultic and not corrupt can make fuel cost less than 175 naira, we have crude oil, build a refinery, send our boys to get trained on how to refine these things, by doing so, you will only pay in naira to the engineers if there are no expatriates operating the refinery, we drill the crude here, we refine it here, and we use it here, I see no reason why fuel cannot be sold at 100 naira per liter. Stop supporting bad governance, it didn't take Dangote four years to build his refinery from scratch, how many years should it take a good government to repair an already-built refinery? lwisee: |

Who will be the first to go under N800. That's all i'm interested in. Let's go below N800 first and then target N500 a liter in the near future. |

No business man can make a law that will make him lose. Don't expect much from this arrangement. They're only looking for a way to control the market due to Dangote's impact |

You people cannot comment on someone's post without Insulting your generation and disgracing your lineage. FG should have sustained the subsidy till Dangotes refinery kick off and now cancel importation totally. Subsidy would have died naturally. Most of us never supported subsidy, with the high level of corruption exposed by the Otedola gate. lwisee: |

It is a shame over hundred naira will be added to pump price, but less than 50% of what they added won't be cut down when it drops and we say we will get better in tbis country helinues: |

casdoruche:What plan are you expecting and what is the plan supposed to have done to the price? The price is the price, simple. Does any plan change the price of crude in the international market? |

yinkus6750:So what's the difference between what you said and where we are now? As of today Dangore refinery is operating and subsidy is no more. |
