Foolish judgment but at the same time can't blame the judge, na see finish cause am. The asylum seeker should have gone to court with cases on Canadian policemen accused of bribery, bruatlity or excessive force and asked the judge, are these peopel inadmissable as well? By letter of the law, a crime committed by one does not implicate all, otherwise every police in advanced countries would be criminals!

The Nigeria Police Force has a concerning record of human rights abuses, consistently violating the rights of Nigerian citizens. However, it's unfair for a Canadian judge to stereotype every Nigerian police officer as evil and complicit in all the system's crimes.
This blanket judgment is akin to saying every Canadian is a drug dealer or addict simply because some Canadians are involved in drug-related activities.
Without a doubt, the judge has miscarried justice, and it's a shame!

To be honest a lot of this Nigeria police are not human. Some would see the truth, they would deny and even extort you in the process.

He stereotyped every Nigerian police officer as evil, and you're happy about it? What that judge has done is akin to saying every Nigerian is a bandit or a member of Boko Haram simply because a few bandits and extremists are terrorizing law-abiding citizens.
If you've had the privilege of traveling outside Nigeria, especially to Europe, the USA, or some rich Arab countries, and seen how Nigerians are stereotyped as criminals or scammers and people not to be trusted,
just because of the actions of a few Nigerians who indulge in such evil acts, you'll understand what I'm saying.

Any government official in Nigeria should be denied visas to travel abroad. These individuals have caused significant harm to Nigeria, yet they seek to escape to countries with functioning systems. Such corrupt officials will hinder progress, accept bribes, engage in nepotism, and commit various wrongdoings. While not every person who has worked with the Nigerian government is corrupt or undeserving of living in developed countries, many have proven to be detrimental.

Well, the judge didn't deny that there may be good officers, but he says they're all guilty by association. I don't agree with this reasoning, but I understand it. The fact that Mr Eriator was a member of SARS makes the denial justifiable in my view.

"You're displaying ignorance about the structure of the Nigeria Police Force. SARS was a small unit within the force, and just because some officers in that unit were corrupt doesn't mean every police officer is SARS. I never condoned or supported the rot and evil within SARS, but it's unfair to label all police officers as evil due to the actions of a few. That's like saying you're a terrorist or armed bandit simply because some Nigerians are involved in such activities. Would you accept being judged based on the actions of others?
