PlanetZero:Called who to order? The only person that needed to be called to order, according to law, was Sim. The Supreme Court proved that. He was clearly not thinking but being pushed by a mob. Now, he seems to have seen better. |

Kukutente23:You don't seem to think much. There was chaos in the air, and Fubara was threatening more. Like you probably figured out, Rivers State is an important state in Nigeria's economy. One man's folly was allowed for far too long and was stopped to avoid setting us all back by years. States like Lagos, Rivers, Oyo and the FCT affect the whole nation and budget/revenue plans. The constitution provision doesn't know that. If you feel aggrieved, go to court. |

Sundaymessi:The two aggrieved parties in Lagos listened to the president, big difference, maturity. In Sim's case, he was deaf and very vocal. |

DeepSight:What do you think should have been a better solution? Recall that Sim wasn't listening or ready to follow whatever internal agreement he made. And he had a Supreme Court judgment hanging on his head. |

obi4eze:but ibas was suspended and not removed. I think there's difference, and a president can constitutionally remove a governor by influencing the state house of assembly. |

There was nothing like intervention to solve any political problems in Rivers State. Everything was scripted and acted by Wike Tinubu just played to his whims and caprices. The sole administrator saga was the brain child of Wike, the bad guy. |

Image123:Oga, there is politics and there is law. If you want to argue that politically it was a good decision, that is a different discussion. As far as law is concerned, it was and remains completely unconstitutional and illegal. |

DeepSight:Yes, it was the best decision to take politically. i see you didn't find a better solution. As for legality, we'll wait for the judiciary's take. The matter is in court, last i heard. But the executive and legislative didn't see anything wrong with it. |
