If na Lagos now, them go begin say they want to take over their state. The one Nigeria advocates with a putrid taste of unity and tolerance.

While they go to other countries to show case their culture, their fellow citizens won't even drink water drop cup in their country.

You can't build a nation without tolerance, respect and love for one another. Politicians will continue using the gullible to achieve their aim.

I was once a proud proponent of one Nigeria, but today I don't even know where I stand in this discuss. Democracy, rather than unite Nigerians has beggeted an ugly facet of disunity. A pity!
Re: Rich Cultural Heritage On Display As Abuja Igbo Fest Holds Today With Free Buses by musicwriter(m):
That's not culture itself but an expression of it. Your culture is inside your language and your beliefs.

What's on display there is rather an expression of culture.

Culture is condensed language. It's just like Agidi/Akamu/Eko/Ogi is a condensation. But the substance itself is starch.

Similarly, the things that condensed to create your culture are:- language and beliefs (religion/God). With education being just like a by-product of language and religion.

That's what all cultures around the world used to create everything else.

I love your unity belief. But for me it's a futile chase. This country is long gone. I've never witnessed the level of tribalism in Nigeria as much as what displayed in 2023.

This one Sen. Ned Munir Nwoko is the face of Igbo festival, I hope it's not what I'm thinking.

All these South Southerners when it's convenient for them, they claim Igbo. At other times they claim Ikwerre, Agbor, Delta Igbo, Ika Igbo.
Some even go to the level of dissociating themselves from anything Igbo

This is been done in Abuja ..the Nations Capital. You will not hear

Our land is destroyed
Our culture is been disrespected
Go back to your land

There is even an Eze Ndi IGBO in Abuja ooo!!!

Those that envy and hate have exposed themselves to the world, but the resilient IGBOs are still waxing stronger

No one is saying you shouldn't be proud of your culture.

Everybody allover the world came from somewhere and all cherish their culture.

Even in Naija, the over 200 tribes similarly celebrates theirs.

However, overdramatic celebration of culture almost every month across the globe just looks like an unnecessary crave for attention....."just thinking out loud"....i might be wrong though maybe my perception is skewed.
