Is that what our constitution says or what Tinubu and his family wants?

You don't seem to think much. There was chaos in the air, and Fubara was threatening more. Like you probably figured out, Rivers State is an important state in Nigeria's economy. One man's folly was allowed for far too long and was stopped to avoid setting us all back by years. States like Lagos, Rivers, Oyo and the FCT affect the whole nation and budget/revenue plans. The constitution provision doesn't know that. If you feel aggrieved, go to court.
You don't seem to think at all. Are you saying if NASS want to impeach Tinubu today, he'll just suspend them to save himself from impeachment citing tensions generated in the country by that move? Can you quote the laws that says the states you listed are more important for Nigeria's economy than others? Do you know how much has been spent on insurgency in Borno in the past ten years? Can I sit and estimate the impact of the insurgency on our budget and revenue plans? What about Benue and Niger states? Can you estimate the cost impact of banditry in this states especially the impact on food inflation? Are you aware that under APC, security note takes the highest in our budgets? Your comment is far from being sensible

Are you sure Tinubu is not the third member of the Holy Trinity and therefore God?
Nothing in the Bible suggests so. Tinubu is just a man doing his best for Nigeria.

The constitution is not for or against. The case is in court though.

Think about it. WHAT attributes does God gave that BAT does not have in your worldview?

How won’t he say that when they circumvented democracy for his benefit?
This decision will come back and bite this government

Please keep quiet and stop being myopic. Do you have the understanding of the damage Tinubu did to this country by that terrible move?
And you spin it to mean he "has stripped Wikes power?"
Tell me, if Wike is stripped out of ministerial position today, does he have anywhere to go?

I already explained it on the thread, read and tell me u didn't agree with me

Not sure i get the tongue in cheek question, but if you mean 'have' instead of gave. Everything.
Holiness, Omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence, resurrection to start with. Tinubu is not even 80 years old, you know?

The constitution is firmly and clearly against it.
Section 305 grants the President the authority to declare a state of emergency in a state or the federation when there is a clear and present danger to public order, safety, or national security, or significant breakdown of law and order. The declaration must be published in the Federal Gazette and approved by a two-thirds majority of the National Assembly. All these happened. The president has SUSPENDED, not removed the governor. He's exploiting the lacuna in the constitution IMHO. Like i said, the court is to decide.

Be serious.

1. The section says nothing about suspension.
2. The NASS did a voice vote - which is impossible to verify as meeting two thirds.
3. The Constitution specifies the only ways in which a governor can cease to hold his office or powers - death, resignation, impeachment, end of tenure and incapacitation.
4. The differnce being made between removal and suspension is a joke because (1) At all events there is no power of removal (2) Suspension is the same thing as a temporary removal for all practical purposes (3) If that argument holds true, he can simply keep renewing the suspension every six months till the end of the tenure and that is the same thing as a removal.

The matter is in court.

The so called court has not been able to fix a hearing date for an unbelievably long period. It is obvious that just like the NASS, the court is also captured by the said god of yours. I am sure you celebrate that as well.

Whose fault is that again? You seem to be fixated on deifying the president, good luck on that.

Let's deal with facts and evidence, not conjectures. Nigerians ride on a lot of myth and belief in politics. Some even believed that fPMB died many years ago and called us insincere for not believing.

This is not any conspiracy theory. Can you explain the rubber stamp attitude of the NASS.
Can anyone explain why the Supreme Court will refuse to fix a hearing date on such a critical constitutional matter?
Keep playing the Ostrich.

What is rubber stamp about working in unity for the progress of Nigeria? So you'd rather have them drag the tax bill for 20 years like the PIB? Was it the same thing that the executive submitted that they approved? Have they not changed every budget presented?Did they not reject ministerial nominees?
i am not aware of the court refusing to fix a date, i heard from you. i therefore don't know the reason but it's not strange in Nigeria. Many people are going through such in Nigeria.
