It is equally the same way a wife has no right to kill her husband even if she catches him with another woman.

The law, in this case, is not trying to encourage immoralities. The law is only trying to discourage jungle justice. The problem is that the enforcers of the law are biased against the male gender in favour of the female gender. That is why many women who killed their husbands for whatever reason are not in jail but men who killed their wives for the same reason were given either life sentence or death sentence.

I still fail to see what a man gains in that union called marriage.
