Why do they have to go to London, Paris or Germany to die?.

If you are 75 years and above and you fall sick in Nigeria, get treatment in a Nigerian hospital. I don't understand the point of going abroad just to die there.

Total waste of resources.

The news of President Buhari's death is so shocking & unexpected. He did is best for this country. Just like he said...Nigerians are just difficult people to govern. I saw numerous uncharitable comments above, majority of this folks can't even manage their relationships let alone their family. He did is best, gave is all. May Allah grant him Aljanah Firdus. Wow

The General Muhammadu Buhari has finally bowed out. I remember the no-smiling, taciturn years of both he and 'Tunde Idiagbon as his deputy from January 1984 to August 1985 and more. That was the WAI era of discipline.

He had a biological Fulani father from Niger Republic who settled in what is now Katsina State and a mixed biological Hausa and Kanuri mother from Nigeria.

I wonder if he'll be flown from London to Northern Nigeria or buried right in London being a Muslim.

The major blot on his 8 years as President was his inability to curtail the banditry caused by his Fula kinsmen from the West African Sahelian countries (foreign Fula herders herdsmen and bandits) who have relentlessly invaded the indigenous lands of the Hausa people for years, (and that of other indigenous Nigerians) while they illegally renamed some Hausa communities with Fulani names as revealed by angry Hausas in videos I have seen.There were high hopes that he would use his influence as a Fula on the Miyetti Allah network who have over 90% of their members being migrant Fulas who are NOT Nigerian citizens [as revealed by a Fulani dude in an interview I read almost 10 years ago] to ensure that the killings stopped but that failed.

Now, the Nigerian President 'Bola Tinubu MUST ensure that this does NOT continue henceforth by the total ban on open grazing of cattle and migration from one location to another of these foreign Fulani herders through the impending constitutional amendment from 2025. If he and his team successfully do this within 6 months, his name would be written in the sands of time or get his image tarnished forever. Period.
