well I believe because chalobah is faster and more comfortable beating press and moving into midfield. But it also means chelsea can keep a higher line than with tosin. Maresca isn't going for the safer option, because gusto will overlap and chalobah and james would be cover at that right side

that's the thing they are not seeing, I suspect James to come off later for lavia or gusto goes off then James shifts to RB when there energy has reduced.

it's a pity James doesn't have gusto-level of energy to press and defend on that right

You're clearly not paying attention to how PSG play. Kvara and Doue constantly switch in games but it doesn't last long though. You'll even see Dembele Vs Gusto and Cucu today despite him playing through the middle.

I can't dwell on the lineups. Maresca say nah the best personnel be this to beat PSG so we'll just have to watch and see.
