It's not about individual but collective wealth. We've seen an example in Nigeria who hold the key.

Igbo is cunning, their wealth is not exposed, they don't show or front their wealth. There are many Igbos that have many more than these guys.

Don't even mind the derogatory comments but what I want you to agree is that other tribes are usually late entrants to certain fields!

The way the Igbos become principalities in the business world in Nigeria is how the Yorubas especially quickly become strongholds in fields outside business!

From Music to Fashion to Movies to Tech etc. There is no denying that the multiplicity of the fields where the Yorubas have a foothold is what gives them an edge

Ultimately, harnessing our strengths from North to South, instead of all this hate among ourselves will take this nation farther than imagined!

Imagine the owner of landmark Beach and some foolish supporters were saying it worth 200m dollars last after the reclaiming the stolen beach front he added to his building that was not even touched. How much is not worth the prestigious Eko hotel and suites.they lie for a living.

You just made a very illogical statement... If they don't show their wealth then how on earth can you claim to know that there are many billionaires... How have you verified the billions? You are among educated people here. Sit up!

That’s how they are … both Yorubas and Igbos… these are two major tribes that have failed Nigeria .. all they know how to do is to fight and argue on who’s Superior..that’s why Nigeria can never grow with this two tribes together in one country.. because when one tries to elevate it .. the other will fight to bring down the achievements… how I wish it were other sensible minority tribes that were majority in Nigeria … maybe we would have had a working Nigeria

You have the same chances as he does if you are able to find your way to the USA and attain citizenship.

A friend who moved over said that the first thing he saw when he landed at JFK Airport was 'Welcome to the land of opportunities.'
He said that statement is indeed true. Dude is now wealthy. Another person said what he achieved in seven years, he can never get in Nigeria in fifty.

The founding fathers of the country intentionally made it so. The only thing that can limit what you can achieve in the USA is yourself.

Even in politics, the ONLY thing an immigrant can't be is the PRESIDENT.
What you said makes a lot of sense and it's true.
I just hope Nigeria will be a land of Opportunities in the NEAR future. We just have to hope and keep hoping because we do not have a choice for this is the land we can truly call OURS.
GO BLESS NIGERIA.

Nigerians, particularly the Yoruba, are achieving remarkable things. I was truly impressed watching Tems perform at the CWC final yesterday. It's time for us to promote Nigeria positively on the global stage and put an end to all the negative comments. Nigeria is truly blessed.
True. There will always be bad...even america has a lot of bad sides. There are places in America that's like junkie land. Junkies wasting away, all over the streets, but you don't see them publicising that to the public or any other negative parts of their country.

A few years ago, I decided to just focus on the good that comes out of Nigeria, and you find that in entertainment, and tech a lot. I focus on that.

Interestingly I have a request going on with the Thai, Cambodian and Indian authorities to release and make public the names of Nigerians in their custody. Some are lost to their families who think they are out there surviving. The number of Nigerians in jails in those countries are absolutely staggering and it’s time we know if they are being held on charges that a simple deportation order could resolve or being punished for a more serious offense. But yes demographically, south easterners are over represented based on the initial data we have gathered. Hopefully the leaders of this communities find a way to communicate the ramifications of crime

Someome Trump is threatening to revoke his citizenship? Dude was born and raised in SA. I think he travel to the US on a student visa then started working illegally which would be enough grounds for his citizenship to be revoked by a hostile government.

Either individually or collective, there is no tribe as rich as Yoruba in Africa.
It is not about noise but real and clean wealth.
Yorubas are the only people that throw parties spending millions and even billions almost like everyday.
No tribe can do that in Nigeria and don't go into extinction.

United States of America! Yet someone that just completed 50 long jumps over potholes and muds from his bus stop to his house will sit down somewhere and be shouting what's in America.

There is a lot in America, and it takes nothing away from the fact that there is huge potential for a lot in Nigeria, way beyond mere "e go better" since 1960.

What key is that? Importing and selling goods from China? One question, are all the customers of your 2by2 shops only igbos? Or the people you called poor make a huge part of your patronage?. The amount of noise you make is what attracts unwanted attention, life no be by gra gra and criminal ventures will not last forever. Yorubas are in Banking, Tech, Entertainment, Communications, Agriculture (remember how we fed you lots with cocoa revenue before oil?) so don’t play. It might be slow but we trust the process and are resilient people with a passion for knowledge acquisition.

Yorubas still got that on lockdown, not only within Nigeria but across all the major countries of the world where legit businesses are the norm.

Another delusion.
You people eat and breath lie.

The World Wide Web, a key part of what we know as the internet, was invented by Tim Berners-Lee, a British scientist, while working at CERN. He proposed the idea in 1989 and developed the core technologies like HTML, HTTP, and URLs. While the internet itself has a longer history, with contributions from many, Berners-Lee's work on the World Wide Web made it accessible to the public.
