The illusional, packaged and overhuped Buhaari. If he wasn't given opportunity rule Nigeria, the story today would be... The only person who could have fixed Nigeria problems, be ruthless with corrupt politicians and take Nigeria to the promise land.

But we all don see that na wash he is.
Hope he reminds you of someone now who is trying to become president and his followers are claiming he is the messiah for Nigeria, experience is the best teacher, Nigeria will be very stupid to fall a second time for such narrative. Stop electing leaders based on personal character.

This is despicable. No matter what, this is not polite behaviour.

In as much as his administration was one of the worst if not the worst, it's not called for.

I supported the man in 2015 with full chest, but despise him when his government went astray.
People who voted for him always have excuse to give... When his government went astray. But alot of us warned you people na.... Which one be go astray again?

He was a disastrous president, one of the worst in the history of the country. His successor is even worse.

Cashless policy had a negative impact on the mases. A lot of people suffered and on a second thought the insecurity that we are suffering from was brought upon the nation by cpc now upgraded to apc fellows.

This is quite preposterous!

Celebrating the death of a man said to have an occultic following up North?

One is dumbfounded, befuddled and bemused at the turn of events.

If these wild celebrations of his death were to have occurred down South, it would have generated a lot of meanings.

Watching the video one could see that those who celebrated his death were mainly street urchins (almajiris).

The almajiri culture is a blight on the Northern leaders (political/religious) who continue to perpetuate this archaic, primitive and wicked practice in the name of religion.

The almajiris have been made to see themselves as the dregs of society who have little or nothing to lose.

This should serve as a serious warning to all northern leaders that the almajiri system is antithetical to present day realities and must be jettisoned without further delay.

The North has created a monster and a day would come when this same monster would become untameable.

The time bomb is ticking!

He was a terrible leader. It's unfortunate that even his kinsmen are celebrating his death .

Buhari carried himself like a small god, talks carelessly and his evil policies led to the death of hundreds of his country men, women and children.

Buhari government encouraged fulani herdsmen killing spree
So now that he is gone, why hasn't the killing stoppedhuh

Baba, is that the topic here?

See how you sound sooooo .......... free yourself from self inflicted agony and pains
I struck a chord lol...and the point being made is straight forward. You can't eat your cake and still have it. Why call Buhari terrible even when you are a supporter of one of his most devastating policies.

The tenure of former President Muhammadu Buhari brought a lot of hardship to Nigeria but this does not mean there are no positives from his administration.
Everybody says this. Ask them to list the benefits and they’ll look at you blankly.

Nigerians and Africans as a whole celebrate over anything. It doesn’t matter how their life will be impacted. They celebrate in a bid to release pent energy. They’ll then go ahead to claim that they’re hungry.

When the cruel cashless policy was rolled out by the then CBN governor. He got the total support of a certain kind of people because these kind of people thought it will hinder Tinubu in a way from achieving his ambition to become president. These people jubilated and danced and were so happy for the policy showing total support despite the devastating effects which very much the inevitable consequences that was more than it's merits. It is still these same people that are raining curses on Buhari and celebrating his death.
I have two opinions about this wether it will count or not depends people's view.
You might not like it but if it was Tinubu that died people would celebrate more because many in the SW where angry saying why it wasn't Tinubu. The trouble with APC is that though the policies were ok, it's the poor that bears the brunt. The size of Government is too large and the money going to politicians in the executive and legislature is way too much. Cut down the size of Government and drastically reduce the money going to these politicians and use the savings for genuine social intervention
And for the irredeemable hateful obidients celebrating the death of Buhari whom they claimed died four years ago, my question is, why hate Buhari when 90% of the people in the new coalition you are supporting are Buhari boys? That's incurable madness isn't it?

Why and are sure of what you are saying? I never seen any Muslim rejoicing over fellow Muslim death especially somebody who uphold their Islam so strongly and a leader like Buhari so who are those rejoicing if I may asked?

Buhari is not Ghadaffi or Osama or Saddam so who are those his fellow people rejoicing?

I never lije Buhari but not to be wishing him death talkless he died and I'm rejoicing I that I'm not a Muslim can't rejoice the death of someone who hasn't done me any wrong.

The tenure of former President Muhammadu Buhari brought a lot of hardship to Nigeria but this does not mean there are no positives from his administration.

However, following the announcement of his death in London, several Nigerians have celebrated his passing majority because of the hardship he brought. What seems surprising is the fact that's Nigerians from the ethic region of the former President have celebrated his passing.

This comes as a shock to me as I have not seen such celebration since the time of Abacha.

Please watch the video of them celebrating and share your views.

I wasn't a Buhari fan but this is total crap. A few scallywags who aren't even up to twenty in number making noise insignificant.

Apart from Tinubu nobody can ever be compared to Buhari in terms of bad leadership, but it seems Buhari is a little bit better than Tinubu, Tinubu is the most useless leader in the world
Tinubu is more reasonable than Buhari. It just so unfortunate that Tinubu 2years is nothing to write home about.

Look at it well.... It's the hausa that are mostly rejoicing because they saw many things unfold under buhari..... He caused great division in the country by looking the other way...

His tenure wasn't easy for anyone from hardship to insecurity and economic downfall all the promises he made he could not fulfill it rather his mission was islamize the country with his Sahel brothers. I see why Tinubu went on with their agenda. But truth be told Tinubu is a better southerner to lead his problems is money and power. Make we no lie Buhari is a scam. I should just Rest In Peace nobody cares about him though.

He should have been closer to the people. He was too distant.
Anyway at 82 and his records, his demise should be a celebration of his life.

Not fair enough, stop mocking the death,
I agree with you that we should not mock the dead. At the same time, we must never ever stifle the truth or spread falsehood because we don't want to "mock" the dead.

Buhari really ruined this country, yet this was the same man they once projected as a messiah. Now, they expect us to accept someone they openly called a failure when he was a governor.
Anytime I'm interacting with someone and they start acting like a saint, I immediately distance myself. If not for the 2027 elections, a lot of people wouldn’t even speak up the way they are now.
As for Tinubu he's also a failure. But let's be honest, Peter Obi, Atiku, and the others currently in the spotlight don't seem like the solution either.
So we should continue with the failure?

Buhari will be remembered for his incendiary remarks about southeast. "A Dot on Line"

He will also be remembered for fanning embers of disunity in southeast. He installed hopeless Hope Uzodinma as Governor of Imo state. A man who came distant fourth in the state Guber elections in 2019.

Since then, there has never been peace in Imo state, and by extension southeast.

Anyway, the Buhari we are crying over his death is the cloned one. Not original Buhari who died 2017.

May God forgive his shortcomings!

The same way some people hyping Tinubu today because he's their tribe's man. Tomorrow they will denounce Tinubu.

Those behaving like gods and calling other citizens of Nigeria third class citizens will surely someday not have the mouth to speak nor their evil fingers be able to type any alphabet.

They cheered Buhari to his death, the same people are cheering Tinubu to a place we don't know.

In all, God is supreme.
