Sadly this is the final season.
Neil Gaiman personal issues also complicates this show going forward. It's somewhat essentially cancelled but with groundwork to end it properly.

This nonsense of one person's personal issue affecting a show/movie needs to stop. The entire world suffering from just one person's mistake is not fair

I just tire for them and the anime is not even finished yet

The sandman season 2 volume 1 is a solid 8.5/10 for me.

This season 2 is one of the most mature series released for about 2 to 5 years now.
The impressive dialogues are just top notch, dialogues mixed with poetry, words so articulated they gave me goosebumps.

The way they carefully picked their words is so adorable, beautiful orchestrated and well placed that you begin to realise that even though we can speak English, there are those out there that when they speak it, they blow your mind away.

Another aspect that people don't seems to realise about this season 2 is the cinematography..
Damm!!! The cinematography gat me wowing in some scenes.

I must say the man that played the king of dreams was born for this role, i have never seen a role made so perfect for someone.

Derilium surely added spark and light to this season 2, so distubed and yet so naive and adorable, she played the last born role so well, she is just so perfect.

I can't wait for the volume 2.
This season 2 is a banger.

I don't like or watch procedural cop shows but when I saw Maggie Q as the lead I had to. There was also a crossover with another cop show BOSCH. I guess she had an episode or two in that other series.

While I do like her, I didn't like this show. It's almost like a feminist parade, it follows the all men are bad trope . Like 99% of all the men in the show were either depicted as assholes, inconsiderate, mean to women. From Ballard's partners not backing her up when she needed help, both past and present and even when the past one tried to apologize for it, she wasn't having it.

One of her colleagues in the cold case unit was a dude portrayed as having no empathy and a pessimist.

The only 'good' guy in the show was the dude she was sleeping with.

While the women were rays of sunshine. It was just annoying.

That's your POV my guy, everybody can see the same series and get different theme from it. This is my theme.

But if we want to go through all the men in the show

Laffont- Disappointed her when they went to confront that retired cop and she gave him an earful.

Chastain - Disappointed her when she told him about Olivas assault.

Bercham - Not trusting her despite her proving herself over and over.

Rawls - Pessimistic and what have you.

Olivas - Rapist and Corrupt.
Santos - Corrupt

Pearlman and Hastings - Uncouth with lots of arm bending plus the betrayal on live TV.

The other Pearlman-

Aaron and Bosch - The only 'good men' featured in the show.

Really? No matter how you want to downplay it, it was a recurring theme that 'men will let you down, when you need them most'.

I'm not saying all men are saints oh, but common subtle theme was that men were unreliable.

Just finished House of David. There's a potential hit show there if they increase the budget and throw in some big fights and battles
