AMINDA:Having a cult figure and good intentions for your region doesn't translate to good leadership at the national level. My singular opinion may not be enough to change anything, but the opinion of the masses which I am rechoing is what matters. He spent our "national cake". Even the money spent looking after him in the London clinic wasn't his personal money. If he spent my money (our collective patrimony), I am entitled to and should have an opinion about him. Those northerners that were rejoicing at the news of his death, I guess they were from the south east? Is time you Africans start holding your leaders, especially those at the national level accountable and stop playing the tribal card all the time. |

And so? Does the death of his father rubbish the fact that General Buhari was a very terrible president? You may never understand my disappointment with Buhari but that's probably because you didn't know that I voted for Buhari in 2015 and 2019 because I so much believed the guy will do the magic I made some formidable enemies in the course of my defending the guy How could I have known that I was just backing the wrong horse all the while? |

Arostar2023:The masses? The "majority" of Nigerians disagree with you but it's okay for the minority to have their say. Buhari did not expend any money on himself or on healthcare that he hasn't earned by right or doesn't deserve. He began to serve Nigeria as a young soldier at the age of 19 and did so until his death. He bled and sweated for the country. What have you done for the country? P.S: Buhari’s nephew is Mamman Daura, Leader of the Kaduna Mafia and he's even currently in London. You may want to Google him. Northern money is never loud. Buhari has never lacked money for a long time in his life even before becoming President. He just didn't have much use for it. |

AMINDA:I guess while "servings" Nigeria he was not paid? A coupist who was among those that ruined Nigeria as a nation. A man who was among those who overthrew a civilian government. Someone chose the military as an occupation and you want to make something else out of it. Is it only those that that are in the military that are serving Nigeria? What about the civil servants in the local governments whose lives were wrecked by the military and the politicians? |

Arostar2023:How much money is your life worth? Serving in the military is not a paid job because you can never be paid enough. It's the only career where you pledge your life in service to the country. It's the ultimate form of sacrifice but I know you can't relate, and it's okay. Goodbye! |

Are you going to live forever? Do you know when you will die? Do you even know whether you would make tomorrow Besides, Buhari lived a very fulfilled and successful life and died an Octogenarian! Are you sure of reaching that ![]() Dalohad: |

helinues:So, with this your "serves right" comment now, how are you different from the guy? If we're to judge by that, you should be expecting a visit from "bae karma". |

AMINDA:People join the US, Canadian and even the Russian militaries for the perks of the job. Buhari wasn't forcefully conscripted into the military, it was his choice of career. And you are telling me a Nigerian joined the military because of his belief in Nigeria. I am not callous and heartless like many who because of tribe vote in wicked men into power. These men at the national level have caused so much pain and ruined several lives by their policies and maladministration Such men shouldn't be celebrated...

Buhari was an incompetent military dictator and the same as a civilian president. If anything happens to me because I typed the truth, so be it. |

Apel147:Buhari did not live a fulfilled life, he was trying to compete with IBB and OBJ on who will rule Nigeria the longest and live the longest. He lost out at the end. Running to London every month could not save him. In my family we live till our 90s. My grand father is still alive at 92 years. He still dey go farm sef. |
